This will be part of a historical look into the past. I am sorry I am going to miss this exhibit because I think it will be a stunning example of the history of humanity going back over 1 million years. This museum is an awesome place. I believe it does us good to look back into the history of our humanity. Might help us better understand what we might accomplish moving forward.

 

I agree and even if you do not believe in religion there is still much to admire about the old artifacts from a humanist perspective.

 

The Ten Commandments was the end of darkness and the beginning of Light. God showed man with the Commandments that He consisted of Pure 'Virtue'. ..and to be with Him one must have virtue.

When the time was ripe again, He showed man that He consisted not only of Virtue, but also of Love...Pure Love. And that to be with Him, man must also have love.

 

This would be amazing to see. I got chills at the National Archive in D.C. looking at the Magna Carta and it's only 800 years old!

 

I know the first time I saw the Dead Sea Scrolls it was stunning.

 

That presumes there is a God. As there is no evidence of his existence, your story will remain a supernatural fantasy.

 

I do not understand....how does 2000 yrs. transform into a million?

Yes people exist, have done for a very long time and human history is very interesting. But when people mention God I switch off.

That a hypothesis, no one knows if humans really existed one million years ago, and even if they did have a similarity to a human being, if they would be able to reason and achieve the spiritual development man was able to achieve later on. If man could, then I'm sure God would have revealed His laws and His virtues a lot sooner. He would not have waited so long.

Now, stop arguing and obey the laws!

 

It wasn't me who brought God into it in the first place.

 

I brought God into the conversation because of the Ten Commandments. They are perfect and they are the foundation of all our laws.

I mean how can someone deny something that made us into what we are? I mean did man create those laws, or were they given to man? If man created them, then what foundation did he have for them?
