i see what you are trying to say but still less than 1% of black people commit murders. So don't blame 99.99% of black people of being thugs because .009% of them commit murders. You can throw around statistics but you have to use them in context.

 

Not true. In the last year we have FBI stats for approx 4000 murders were committed by caucasians (which include hispanics) and 4000 by blacks. There are about 40 million blacks in the US. 4000 is on tenth of one percent not one percent.

But that is only in one year. Over ten years that would be 1%, over 20 it would be 2%...etc.

BTW, approx 65% of all violent crimes are committed by caucasians. That still leaves a disproportionate amount committed by blacks but your premise remains true...the vast majority of blacks do not commit violent crimes and to "profile" them all that way is not statistically valid and to do so IMO reveals a deep seated bigotry or racism.

For those who will be shocked by my statements I'll leave you with this. 98% of all violent crime is committed by males. Do you then profile ALL males as violent criminals, white, black or hispanic?

 

Here's another one, 75-80% of all rapes are committed by caucasians.

Do you then profile ALL caucasian males as rapists?

Yet, they manage to be responsible for 50% or MORE of the total homicides in a nation of over 300 million, where they comprise less than 14% of the total population, and are also responsible for OVER 90% of the murders of other blacks, and are TWENTY TIMES MORE LIKELY to murder a WHITE PERSON, than vice versa.

Which is the ENTIRE POINT of the Talking Points Memo that is being decried as "RACIST" for citing the facts.

Today the BBC wrote that the only minority jurist in the Zimmerman case said that Zimmerman was guilty of murder, but she couldn't convict him because Florida law says that it must be proven that Zimmerman intended to murder him. Is she saying the law should be changed to: Any non black killing a black is proof of intent and therefore guilty?

 

That's what O'Relly was saying...let's stop HIDING FROM IT,and start DOING SOMETHING ABOUT IT.
