"Outrage grows" ... You know, sometimes the passive voice is really misused. Outrage is being manufactured by biased media.

Tonight I was watching a discussion about Trump's victory on tv, one of the guests was a Muslim guy, member of CAIR.

He said, and I burst out laughing...."My 3 children, ages 4,5 and 6 came running in the house shouting 'Daddy! Daddy! Trump won! Is he going to kick us out of the country?'"

Kids 4,5 and 6 watches politics....is that a Muslim trait? Or a drama queen Muslim father lying thru his teeth? Lol!

Given how easy it is to cut and paste things out of context and that convicted criminal O'Keefe has been exposed for doing exactly that there is no reason to believe anything on those videos.

Skepticism when it comes to the activities of convicted criminals is always a good strategy. They are masters at conning people into believing what they want them to believe.

Yeah I saw that idiot. You know, those kids probably heard Trump was evil in their Madrassa that Mr. Muslim 'dad' put them in. He was spouting garbage about profiling the Muslim religion. Why shouldn't we profile them? They promote a theocracy. We don't need that in America. We have freedom of religion but we also have freedom FROM religion. Muslims coming here need to be vetted and the ones that refuse to assimilate need to go back to their theocracies. And I'm sorry, the Muslim hijabs are UGLY. There I said it. I am such an infidel.

Convicted criminal O'Keefe plea bargained his way out of doing hard time in a federal penitentiary.

Only the gullible unquestioningly swallow whatever convicted criminals are selling.

I am trusting my own eyes and ears and they are telling me that O'Keefe is a convicted criminal who cannot be trusted because he has faked videos in the past and therefore a healthy dose of skepticism is warranted.

If you are referring to propaganda sites such a Bannon’s Breitbart, you should resist being controlled by them.

As the chairman of Breitbart News, Bannon turned the website into, in his own words, the “go-to platform of the alt-right” — a far-right ideology that promotes what many consider to be white nationalism, racism, anti-Semitism, homophobia, transphobia and misogyny.”

I’d also keep a discrete distance from the crazies screeching ”Lock him up! Lock him up!” before the accused has been brought to trial and convicted (innocent until proven guilty in a court of law) but let’s hope ”the media” doesn’t allow him to weasel out of aggrieved Americans’ right to their day in court in the Trump U® scam.

In America, no one is above the law, despite what some personality cult might believe and “the media” promote.

    “Justice delayed is justice denied.”

I've countered with death threats on the right and bomb plots on the right, which you ignored because you only wanted to look at riots. You've "mentioned" violent crime statistics, but provided nothing. So no, you have nothing.

Facts are not tears, nor does your "response" actually address anything except addressing objective facts with flamebait.

Of course there is nothing whatsoever preventing Trump from offering a "no fault" settlement to make it all go away.

Well (*)(*)(*)(*). Now he just nominated Jeff Sessions. I've defended Trump himself against charges of racism, but he sure does seem to like racist company. It is getting easier and easier to see why white nationalists have universally celebrated Trump's election.

    - - - Updated - - -

If by "left" you mean "anyone to the left of Breitbart," then sure. I'll catch you up, though. I voted against the "old nag" and I'm outraged, as are many conservatives who don't like seeing the alt-right take over the party and the movement.

True, but a demonstration that he is not "above the law" and confident of his unblemished virtue would dispel rumours of both his egomaniacally-driven avoidance and predatory venality. If he appears as desperate to hide his dodgy rip-offs from Americans as he was to conceal his revelatory tax returns, people will, inevitably, draw their logical conclusions.

Isn't there some law that prevents anyone from suing an incumbent potus and that they have to wait until after they leave office? If so that would mean Trumposity is just trying to run out the clock on the statute of limitations.

It doesn't sound as if The Great Flatu can evade justice in a case of fraud that was brought against him years ago by hiding behind his office:

As usual, you choose to see the problem only on one side while ignoring it on the other.

If you feel that those who are suing because they believe they were defrauded are deserving of criticism, you are free to present your case. I'll read it with interest.

Meanwhile, it appears they will be recompensed and the sordid details will not be aired in a court of law:

You're way off topic now. I'm talking about biased, propaganda media masquerading as news and religiously followed by certain people who also religiously ignore the other side and quite possibly the more centered, less biased media also.

No, I wasn't ranting about media left, right, or center - although the "alt-right platform" created by Bannon is obviously pertinent to the topic.

Yes, his GOP rivals for the nomination documented and were very upset by all the free coverage the main stream media lavished on one of their own, but that's history.

I was commenting on Trump's being sued. It looks as if he has thrown in the towel and will finally have to settle with those he defrauded.

Your comment doesn't appear to be relevant to the thread. Biased news sources, on the other hand, could be. Why do people who hide in an echo chamber constantly attempt to criticise those who hide in another echo chamber?

I have no idea what axe you are trying to grind.

Follow the money: Donald Trump has earned close to $2 billion worth of free media attention during the 2016 campaign, eclipsing the total value of media attention given to all of his Republican competitors combined, a new study finds.

Yes, the neo-nazi Daily Stormer that now praises Bannon was one of the few media outlets to officially endorse him, but the main stream media was very, very good to The Great Flatu.
