Occupy Wall Street is becoming increasingly violent in our streets. To date areas housing OWS encampments have suffered increased crime, drug use, and multiple violations of the law. These protesters have broken the law and have far exceeded their rights to freedom of speech by creating a dangerous environment for citizens and the police departments who protect the communities. OWS has shown disregard for the law and is waging a war on America without any response from the government. They have created unsanitary conditions that greatly increase the risk for the creation of a pandemic or a strain of virus to evolve. Our police officers are not soldiers and are not equipped to deal with a situation OWS has caused. President Obama needs to dispatch the National Guard to protect America and to restore order in our streets.

    If you agree please....

Sign the petition asking President Obama to stop putting our police officers into a paramilitary situation and dispatch the national guard to maintain peace @ http://wh.gov/jBs. Your signature is important!

and if you don't....please tell me why you support the mob? :gun::???:

I support the mob because I hope that they will help the republicans destroy the remnants of the democrat party. Keep screwing up OWS! Keep killing, raping, vandalizing, attacking police officers, arsons, thefts, mastribating in front of children, graffiti, beating old people, marching, camping, resisting arrest, pooping on police cars and sidewalks, running around naked and having sex in public.

(Forgive me for the crimes I left off).

I support the mob because every government should fear it's people and not the other way around..

So,... whether or not we agree with the protesters aims and goals, assuming they are not out to overthrow the government, and these peoples aims seem fairly benign and generalized to me, we should appreciate the OWS crowd, even the Right Wingers owe them a debt...

The same goes for the tea party crowd, I guess, although I thought a lot of them were neo-fascist zombie air heads...

The government will only fear citizens with brains and balls. The OWS nitwits lose on both counts.

Sorry. The leftist media requires rebuttal and not the nitwits in the parks. The leftists in government--Obama, Pelosi, Waters--need rebuttal but not the scum using human shields. I love the brave twits marching holding their children in front of them. They are really disgusting.

I know the children are desperate because, "Nobody listens to me." Maybe when they grow up, get a job, get a life.

Sorry. I'll take Wall Street's word over yours. No offense..

By the way, it's a good idea when debating to use substance rather than insults ( "scum" "twits" "disgusting" ). People tend to take you more seriously..

I would tell you but since you class every demonstrator as the same, I won't.

Sorry, it's not Wall Street you're taking serious. You took a report and made assumptions that fit your beliefs. No one takes the OWS--I can't think of a word that won't get me banned that you would accept--seriously.

I recently read that the husband and daughter of the mayor of Oakland were participating with the OWS fools. I wonder if that can explain the mayor's inability to deal with them effectively?

Yeah, I'm making an assumption. That someone who spends the better part of a million dollars to fight something, with paid PR, takes it seriously.

I think you have made the mistake of thinking the opinions that dominate this forum represent America at large. Think again...

I thought again. Don't think, Big Brother, that you and your friends are representative of Americans. Consider, if you will, the trillions--trillions mind you--that President Obama and Congress have pissed away in the last three years and consider the billions they (*)(*)(*)(*) away daily without even noticing. Then consider the tens of millions the leftists spend--unions and Soros--pursuing their sick dream and then tell me how Wall Street must be terrified if someone is considering an $850k PR campaign. Get real. In the scheme of things, you're talking chump change.

And back to the original topic. The police are quite capable of dealing with the fools in the parks. It's the politicians who can't deal with it.

Chump change ? This is merely one lobbying firm. Do you know how many lobbying interests are active in Washington ? Where there's smoke there's fire. That's the whole point.

As far as waste in Washington. Get real. Do you think waste ends when a Democratic administration get's voted out. Wait till one of your neo-cons takes over, You think that will end the problem ? No one could possibly be so naive.

LOL! 850K is nothing to these people. You have any idea how much is spent on "campaigns" in every election? The folks on Wall street are not dumb, they know that the Democrats are going to ride the coat tails of these foolish OWS folks to try and push their political agenda, and they are preparing for it.

Golly, no, I don't knnow how many lobbying firms there are. I suspect a lot are leftists so they'll be spending money to support the nitwits. Tell me, Big Brother, how many lobbying firms are there?

Basically, you have fantasies and no point. The appropriate adjectives are disgusted, irritated, and embarrassed but certainly not frightened. Occasionally angry when the nitwits directly damage property or jobs but never frightened. A clown jumping up and down saying, "Oh, I've scared him," is ludicrous.

I am sure that the reasons of each individual involved in the OWS movement vary. Many are not involved for admirable reasons. I sympathize with the law enforcement officers who have been put in the middle of this mess. But the movement itself is genuine, there is a disconnect between greed and the common good. Mobs are not pretty, and are capable of doing more harm than good, but they only appear when a society has lost its sense of unity. Involving the military will be seen as an act of subjugation and brutality. It may halt the movement, but ultimately will only strengthen its resolve.
