It appears Obama has allowed China to get more of our secrets

Pakistan allowed Chinese military engineers to photograph and take samples from the top-secret stealth helicopter that US special forces left behind when they killed Osama bin Laden, the Financial Times has learnt.
The action is the latest incident to underscore the increasingly complicated relationship and lack of trust between Islamabad and Washington following the raid.

Pakistan needs to be (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)-slapped. Those two-faced back-stabbing bastards are no better than the rest of those losers out that way.

If Pakistan is our ally, why did we not just recover the wreckage before it got exploited?

I think Obama and his military leaders dropped the ball by not immediately destroying it.

I saw that. Pakistan has never been our friend. At least we have India on their border. Now Pakistan is telling us who their new friends are.

Im not sure Obama 'let' them see it....the Pakistanis did if true.

Its been clear for along time Pakistan is playing both ends against the middle.

Time to pull the plug on ALL aid.

Thats really all we can do.

Continue to attack enemy assets in their country when necessary and publicly call them out for their duplicity.

How exactly has Obama allowed China to get our secrets? This isn't about Obama, this is about the actions of our erstwhile "allies", the Pakistanis.

If you're willing to turn this into a stupid partisan topic, we can always compare Obama's dealing with the Pakistanis vs. Bush/Cheney's actions back in the day, to see who was really doing some enabling.

Also, the assault team DID attempt to destroy all of the damaged helo, but were unsuccessful, obviously. They were in a bit of a time crunch at the time and all.....

Own fault for getting the wrong allies.

Get proper relations with the nations who are your ENEMIES. Israel, India and yes even Russia are far more reliable then Pakistan, Egypt, And Saudi Arabia...

I didn't even vote for Obama, but how is this his fault? Agendas are sooo easy to see.

Is it? Isn't it time for the US to acknowledge who her allies are? Clue: Pakistan isn't one of them.

I think now is the time to say things about Pakistan, however you have to remember, that before we got Bin Laden, their willingness to "assist" was very important, and that's wht let us slip in and out without consequences. So, that prior thinking is ridiculous.

That's fine, we were going to ship production of our secret stealth helicopter over to china anyway because they'll do it for cheap and not complain about working 15 hour days like lazy american workers

I've said it before. We should end all aid to Pakistan immediately.

When High tech equipment is down in enemy territory it is destroyed. This should have happened here

The attempt was made by the assault team, they just didn't successfully destroy all of it due to the limited timeframe. As I already wrote.

If you're going to take this tact with the finger pointing, then point your finger at SEAL Team 6, not Obama......

Not that a finger is required to be pointed in this instance. Things never go perfectly in operations like this. I'm sure an after-strike was considered once the information that a portion of the tail rotor was still intact was relayed, but an after-the-fact operation to destroy it (via tomahawk, predator, JDAM, or whatever) would have been WAY to risky. The locals were up, awake, alert, and all over the site at that point.

The very last people anyone should point a finger at are those Navy SEALs. Especially since they died in a recent heli crash, may they RIP.

By your logic, the aid flowing to Israel should have been stopped years ago. One of our more duplicitous allies, the Israeli government has committed acts of aggression against the US Government, including but not limited to, high profile spying convictions and a direct assault on a US Navy ship. Like Pakistan, Israeli spies did share sensitive information with a rival power, but unlike Pakistan, they also directly killed US military servicemen.

I'd appreciate you quoting (or even reading) my entire comment next time, before you try and cherrypick me. Context kind of matters, nor was I implying such a thing.

It was not my intention to cherry pick you and I know you, personally, were not implying such a notion. My only intention was to deflect responsibility from the SEALs as I am sure there were complications at play during the operation. I was also careful to word the statement in a non-personal way (by using "one" instead of "you" in that sentence), but regardless of that, I will apologize to you for my post being misconstrued in such a manner.
