Brady is the most overrated quarterback in the history of football which is why Eli Manning has two Super bowl rings. I still have money in the bank from that dose of reality.
It was a GREAT game. One of those that'll be remembered by anyone who watched. The play of the game, Brady > Edleman> Amendola. Classic.
??? Really? The Seahawks match up well against anyone because they have a large, mobile aggressive defense and an opportunistic offense led by future Hall of Famer, Russell Wilson (who shredded a very good Carolina defense).
Funniest comment of the day.......you do know that Tom Brady has three SuperBowl rings in five appearances, right?
Is this a math question? Brady has three out of five and Manning has two out of two. Hold on I'm getting my calculator. Let's see, three out of five, that's 60 percent. Two out of two, that's 100 percent. Both against Brady. I think your comment is funnier. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eli_Manning
I'd rather have 3 than 2..........most five year olds could tell you that. And if Asante Samuels doesn't drop an easy Eli pick the play before ridiculous 'helmet catch' then Brady has four......
Can Rodgers beat the Seahawks on a leg and a half? IN Seattle? After loosing big to Seattle already once this season (36-16)? I think not.
He is the best QB skill-wise of all time. He's getting his second MVP this year and has a great chance at a second Super Bowl....the guy is already a HoF lock and has been for a couple seasons already. Absolute legend. - - - Updated - - - Yes, because they are overall a much better team offensively and especially defensively. Will they?....probably not. Seattle is playing great and they are nearly unbeatable at home. With a fully healthy Rodgers, I think the Packers roll through the Seahawks.
Really? Then why are the Seahawks Super Bowl champions and not the Packers? Why is Seattle playing at home next week and not Green Bay? (these are rhetorical questions) We will agree to disagree.
I meant the Packers were much better than they were week 1....next time I should probably post my complete thought.
Probably so (minus Aaron Rodger's condition) but then so are the Seahawks. They rode out an indifferent and inconsistent early and mid season to roll through the last third of the year like true champions. No offense to Green Bay but I don't see anyone that can match Seattle on both sides of the ball. Now they will be going after history...not just a win.
I dont see Seattle as improved...they just started playing vastly inferior teams, including Carolina.
chuckle...Yes. Everyone is inferior when they step on the field with Seattle. Carolina had one of the most efficient defenses in the league. We'll see how "superior" Green Bay is next week.
Look at their schedule down the stretch...cupcakes. The only playoff team they played the 2nd half of the season was the Cardinals twice....and they lost when the Cards had their starting QB and won when the Cards were down to their 9th or 10th QB. The Seahawks are a great team, dont misunderstand that, but they arent head and shoulders the best team in the league.
I think they have fallen off a tad too this year, but not very much. And considering they got home field for the NFC title game they will be in the SB once again. If they play the Patriots or Colts, Ill consider Seattle a lock for 2 in a row. But if they play the Broncos again I dont see them just walking away with it this year. Last year they were untouchable, riding that wave of electricity and were just flat out more hungry. Plus the early mistakes the Broncos made sealed their fate and only turned the Seahawks in rampaging maniacs. Last year nobody saw them coming, this year if the Broncos go they will be more than ready for the occasion. But who can you honestly say is a better squad than the Seahawks? The patriots dont have the defense and their offense is suspect by lack of running game because the Seahawks do have an excellent pass defense. The Colts are just not ready, they will get hammered by the Seahawks. Denver in my eyes is the only team left that has a true shot at dethroning these guys.
And who did the Packers play? The Lions (not exactly a great team) and the Patriots, which the Packers beat to their credit. Look, the Seahawks wrapped up home field advantage (that should tell you something) and they already beat the Packers by twenty points earlier in the season. And Seahawks are the defending league champion. And their quarterback is 100% healthy. I respect your opinion but check the odds makers.
I'm glad the Ravens lost because Raven is a racist term that insults Crows everywhere. The Ravens should be ashamed of the name of their team.
They got home field because they had a cupcake schedule....the only playoff team they played in the 2nd half of the season was the Cardinals who were down to something like their 4th or 5th QB. Then when the Seahawks get to the playoffs they play the Panthers...a team who didnt even have a winning record. And I already admitted I think the Seahawks will win so Im not sure what youre even arguing about....
If we beat Green Bay next week here in Seattle then the Pats will be be a roll over in the SB. I think the Pats and Brady are overrated and the Pack now is not the Pack we beat the first game. People talk about home field advantage for the Hawks but the most lopsided dominant game they've played post-season in the last 3 years was on the road - last year's Super Bowl.
Belichick only recieved a large fine because the NFL was aware video taping another tems practice was required by NFL rules as such video is required by Insurance Companies who have policies on players. Every practice by any team, must be taped. And I would hardly call 3 Suerbowl Wins and two Superbowl loses that came down to 1 play as choking. Other teams and their fans would just LOVE to have our issues. AboveAlpha
The Seahawks will have their hands full with the Packers. But if they win....they do not match up well against the Patriots. AboveAlpha
