That is a stop gap measure to help with their energy needs. In the summer, check out their pollution levels.

Oil companies pay taxes. And users of ICE vehicles pay taxes on their fuel.

What part of .. "Increasing until 2030" went deer in headlights ? -- hardly a stop gap mate .. your claim that Coal is Dead.. a simple fantasy .. and as told you in previous post .. this is similar to Blue political bandwagon fantasies on which they are basing enviro policy .. which are dead wrong .. anti science .. anti rational thought .. and bad enviro policy.

What game is it that you wish me to keep playing .. the race for dumb and dumber ?

Your claim is that Coal is Dead. Posting some random link - without citing from that link .. is a violation of forum policy ..and the former. as is not commenting in any way on how the cited information supports claim

The latter is when the naked link ends up not supporting claim.

    So .. you Win :)

No, neither the Amish nor any other user is subsidized to use roads.

They are available to all. That is not a subsidy; it's simply infrastructure. EV charging stations are only of benefit to EV operators; they represent a targeted subsidy.

Ev stations are available to all. Bray and bleat all you want, but this junk about ev stations is a joke. In addition, people have to pay for the charge.

Nope. EV and ICE vehicle operators are both taxed for roads and that's fair. EV operators benefit from charging stations while ICE operators do not, and yet both are taxed for them. That's a subsidy for EV operators.

Rural roads are only used by a select few, yet they are subsidized.

They are available to all as infrastructure. Rural roads are generally paid for by the counties they are in. Hence the term: "county road."

It well if electric cars became a significant portion of cars driven. Electricity prices will skyrocket too.

This won't make anything better it will just make it worse especially on people who can't afford an electric car.

County roads (mostly gravel when I grew up) were maintained by the county. County crews also maintained the asphalt roads.
