They usually come in pairs, but I guess they couldn't find a bowl large enough.

I had heard that as well daisy, but to me it has a distinct odor.

I'm not sure about a lasting presence on ones breath, as with whiskey, but definitely in the glass it does (to me).

I've always been sensitive to smells. I must have been a hound in a previous life.

Are those your puppies.. I love puppies, kittens, dogs and cats. There isn't anything sweeter than a kitten or puppy, so innocent and full of life.

This is Roscoe and July when they were puppies.. Can you believe someone tossed them out to fend for themselves.? Two little puppies how heartless.

Just look at those sugar faces. Love at first glance, always, at least for me.

Awwwww Daisy, they are/were simply beautiful!

I could never discard them as some people do. I just don't understand why folks do that. :(

No, the bluetick pups are not mine. They are pictures taken from Google search. I've looked at them many times, I think they are so pretty.

Nor me. I only ever use it mixed in something. The toffee one is something else, though - it's the only flavoured vodka stuff I can drink neat. Lovely stuff!

    Good morning everyone.....and Smokey.

I hope you all are in for a wonderful day or night filled with joyful...uh...joyful...joy.
    lol

Im thinking. We could use a dart board. I think it'd be cool to have tournaments and teams. It could bring the community together in an atmosphere not based on political affiliation.

I have to admit, I have been practicing for some time now. So I think it only fair to let you all in on my status. Im not a shark by any means. Here is a video showing just how good it gets. Ill let you judge for yourselves.

    Hello RW,

    Thanks for stopping in.

I'm confident a Pepsi can be found somewhere around here. lol

Interestingly, my Grandfather would only drink (whatever) at room temp.. Well, espresso he would drink hot/warm (shot), but drinks others would chill or serve over ice... never. He would not drink a cold beer, didn't like them, room temperature only. No chilled wine, only room temp..

Cool video, I've never seen exploding darts before.

A couple places I've been in, I can only imagine when the first dart hit the wall, all hell would erupt! lol

    Morning all.
Warm Pepsi, now there is something that you don't come across very often. Many Europeans are very stingy with their ice cubes, or refrigerators for that matter. I think they store their beverages in cellars, don't they.

    ***looks for coffee**

I like mine dark, hot and sweet, thank you.

Have you ever tried limoncello? Typically an after dinner drink, although I like it anytime. lol

To the point, I have a friend whose family grow/sell sorrento lemons, and also distill and bottle limoncello. I always bring a couple bottles back to the states with me. I introduced a neighbor to it a year or so ago, and in an attempt to replicate it, she made some using vodka as a base and gave me a bottle of it.

Although the gesture was much appreciated, the drink taste like ass. lol Seriously, it taste exactly like it was made, vodka with lemon cooked into it. Not really good.

There is simply something about vodka that disagrees with my taste buds.

If I can purchase a small bottle of the toffee, I may give it a go, on your recommendation. For you, I suggest one day finding a real italian limoncello and trying it. Chilled is certainly best. In fact, I keep it in a freezer ~ very cold. Restaurants (at least in sud italia) will often also chill the little glasses it is served in.

    G'morning Shang,

I think you're on to something, about the refrigeration. Now it is different, but a lot of the more common conveniences taken for granted in the U.S., was for years not shared in parts of Italy. Yes, cellars are still utilized a great deal, particularly in rural areas. Obviously, many restaurants have vast cellars of wines/liquors.

    Now, for that coffee.........

    ...forgot the coffee lol
