    Speaking of insurance claims... my neighbor gave us this surprise in the middle of the storm last week.

    His tree, my fence:

    Both me & my neighbor were very lucky it didn't take out anything except my fence. Stopped about 10 ft from my bedroom wall. Good thing it's fall got interrupted by another smaller tree or I mighta been smushed in my bed!

    Scary stuff.

    Taking off tomorrow for the beach... leaving orders for Josh, at State Farm, to take care of it while I'm gone! ;)

    Thx for thinking of me, g/f. The storms had passed and I'd finally gone to sleep when I woke up to LOUD popping noises (I thought it was huge hail)... about the time my feet hit the floor, I heard a big SWOOSH and that was it. Was I surprised to walk out the back door with a flashlight and see a 50 ft tree in my driveway! Like I said, it was traumatic, so

    Pomegranate spa manicure & pedicure with hot pink polish - CHECK

    Trashy Novel - CHECK
    Sunscreen - CHECK
    Beachbag - CHECK
    FlipFlops - CHECK

    All I gotta do is finish packing and I'M OUTTA HERE!!!

    Thought about that when I drove through town today.
    It is absolutely essential to wait until traffic approaches from both directions before pulling out of a side street, making sure to accellerate as slowly as possible to make sure the person behind you is as inconvenienced as possible, I had to check my patience meter. Perhaps I expect too much courtesy from other drivers.

    Also, while shopping at a grocery store, make sure to text while pushing your cart into others, making sure others will not leave the store without bruises, if in anyway possible. Here, too, I told myself it is I who must apologize for not avoiding careless and rude shoppers more effectively.

    Ok so a few minutes after I posted that I thought of this. She should have passed that bastard who pulled out in front to slow roll and got in front and slowed down and turned on her lights so it would look like brake lights and then flailed her arms wild in the car.
    At the store she should have grabbed her leg and screamed you broke my leg. Get the manager. No I dont wanna sue anyone I want free coupons and brown paper bags.

    Just catching the reports of the tornadoes in Oklahoma. My thought are with those people.

    I hope Kimi is in a safe area, I understand parts of Arkansas are also threatened.

    Oh and Smokey admit I just beat your ass bad at that last 8ball game. I have to admit this. I have a whole new perspective to the 8ball game.
