    Hey, I should have said it earlier... congrats on making the money ball on break! That is great!


    I too have managed it, using the break you suggested. It really does work.


    I just wish we could get a little more heat on the cue ball at break. I think there is an application for that, and spin... once registered.

    That is a great break as long as you dont scratch. I dont have enough power in real life to sink that 8. But like I said the guy who taught me that was an excellent player. His dad was and took him to pool halls and bars as a kid. Neighborhood stuff, you know.

    There is a power thing that I see flashing but Im too busy aiming to pay attention and you can put spin on the cue. Ive see some serious spin people put on it that crazies that cue. Now Im gonna have to read up on how.

    No, thats the guy I call Chatty Man. He shoots like crap and hard till he gets serious. Watch out for the fool who purposly breaks like (*)(*)(*)(*) or drives the cue into the back rail to break off the back cushion ass backwards. He is a ruse. He wants you to break the rack more to spread it out so he can hehe and clean the table. Im gonna go play now and beat your ass. Be right back to gloat. Ahahahahahaha

    I've played the jackass with the backward break. I don't care for players like that. If I wanna see clowns I'll go to the circus or your house. *grin*

    I don't like playing the computer generated opponent. You can always spot it by the erratic cue stick... spins around like the second hand on a wall clock. I've beat it, and had the win awarded to the damn computer. It's screwy. I'd much rather shoot against a real person.

    The GOOD news is that Allstate is covering pretty much everything. We're still iffy on repairing a few holes in the walls the plumbers made while rerouting the lines, but we're getting a new kitchen, new linoleum IN the kitchen, and a new rug in the family room, hallway, and master bedroom. Also, I got two new toilets in the process and my son installed them.

    The BAD news is that the house currently looks like a tornado went through it. The severely water-damaged old kitchen is in pieces in the backyard, and every drawer has been emptied in the process over the rest of the house.

    I kind of feel - disorganized. Sort of like my brain is made of tapioca. My kids at at school are actually going easy on me at the moment, I think they know I like everything neat and my home is now the antithesis of that!

    Hello SW,

    I know it must be frustrating for you guys. It's never comfortable having everything strewn about, and strangers (contractors), padding in and out. I hate that it happened to you.

    On the bright side, it does sound to be moving along fairly well, so the end is in sight. And you guys will will have a new kitchen as a result. I'm pleased that your insurance company is working with you.

    I wish you continued good progress.

    Well, at least you will have peace of mind having done all the repairs. Going through the process is, indeed, mind boggling, but when its done you can sit back and enjoy.
    Kudos to Allstate. Our insurance, State Farm, left us stranded last year when we had wind damage and power outages, telling us they were inconveniences.
    So much for 'good neighbor'....pfffffffffffffffft
