Really? Which of Newton's laws is that? So if an object traveling at high speed hits something else it should just bounce off? How do you explain the ability of bullets to penetrate? Lead is far softer than the aluminum, steel and titanium alloys found on a plane, yet bullets have no problem penetrating. The bigger the bullet, the better it is at penetration because of the more mass it has. How is a very large plane traveling at high speed somehow different from a bullet?
People with no understanding of physics and watch too much TV crashes assume that a plane crashing into a building will "explode in reverse" on impact. LOL

I think he is referring to this one. Truthers cite this one a lot. Newton's Fourth Law of Cartoon Physics. When a moving object collides with a stationary object, the moving object will do one of the following: 1. Explode on impact accompanied by the word BOOM appearing in smoke at the point of impact. 2. Bounce off accompanied by a goofy "boiyoing" noise. 3. Pass through the stationary object and make a hole in the stationary object that is the exact shape of the moving object.

Add to that the fact truthers believe conflicting theories and you can quickly see the lunacy. You pretend you believe in LIHOP, yet you also believe in things like mannequins being thrown out of the towers, missile defense batteries at the Pentagon being stood down and all kinds of other theories which are DISTINCTLY not LIHOP. You can't believe them all, yet you defend them. That is neither reason nor balance.
The first one was kind of a surprise but many saw the second one since they were looking in that direction so it is just common sense the first one was an airliner also but common sense does not apply for truthers.
