Planned Internet "OUTAGE" 9/11/14? I came across the article this morning. It could be nothing, or it could be something, who knows. Just thought I'd throw it out there for people to read who may have not seen it.
There are outages and planned maintenance like this in all sorts of different places pretty much every day of the year. You can do his search for different dates and still get lots of hits.
If anything is planned for today, it sure is going to be blamed on the Islamic State which in turn will be excited but puzzled by how they were able to do it. The US actually armed this Islamic State with state of the art weapons along with lots of Al-Qaeda affiliates that were known to be lurking among the initial 'Syrian rebels' who now are all IS members. Perpetual war in the Middle East seems to be a common US-Israel goal. A stable regime like that of Saddam did not match their preferences.
That's not a news article, it's right-wing propaganda that has zero journalistic reputation. Feel free to ignore it. As the writer says: "Is this some sort of sick joke?" That's exactly what it is.
Every morning at 2 am my internet connection either bogs down or drops off completely, my Dish also turns off at 2 am if i do not cancel it, I never thought terrorists had already comprised me! By 2:05 am everything is usually hunky dory and I am happy again.
I'm sorry you decided to take the reasoning of the thread out of context, I can assure you the last thought on my mind was the sky is falling and it's unfortunate that you think that it was. If I recall correctly I said it could be something or it could be nothing, so in other words it was simply something I came across and decided to share it for what it was worth for better or for worse. I'm afraid there is a little confusion here. I did not make the OP because I personally felt as if "that" particular scenario was going to happen. I clearly stated that I was throwing it out there for those who may not have already seen it, and I also clearly stated that it could be something or could not be anything. No claims were made, no stance was taken, so there was nothing to be blown out of the water. But I appreciate your opinion, thanks and enjoy your day.

Precisely. Any reasonable person would understand that. Again, no claims were made for or against on my part in the OP, why some chose to add unnecessary attributes to something where none was required seems a tad asinine to me. Boredom often has that affect on people I suppose. Heh.

And if your sarcasm wasn't so grotesquely apparent, then I would say that's an interesting point of view wether or not if I decided to partake on pondering if could or couldn't happen. What I wouldn't say is pompous, arrogant and frankly immature statements because I wasn't asked to subscribe to any particular point of view on the matter and because nothing was said that would indicate someone would be wrong if they disagreed.
