Like every other fatality in the very same circumstance we see over and over and over and over.
Failure to comply got him shot.

 

They do carry batons, but they are not 'magic wands'. There is a continuum of force options ranging from verbal commands all the way to lethal force. Your choice is based on the perceived risk and tactical situation. For a start as in this latest incident try swinging one in car. Not the right option in the circumstances.

A taser? OC spay? Possibly, although there were also enough officers at the scene that IMO they would probably have gained control by going 'hands on' in a seconds. Although this last is second guessing on my part (always easy when your not there).

When an arrest was resisted Wyatt Earp just cold cocked 'em with the barrel of a gun. What ever happened to a good old fashioned night stick? Technology with these tazers just complicates things. What if she tazed him and he died of a stroke? Same outcome! They're gonna loot and riot 'cause that is what they do when permitted to do so.

 

Its called concussion/brain damage. And as such is generally frowned up as the 'go to' method of subduing suspects in the 21st century. Go figure.

If he had just accepted the fact he was being placed under arrest he'd be alive. That was the single greatest factor in the overall cause of death. The accidental shooting was a symptom of his criminality.

 

Yea plus shes clearly shocked when she realizes it was a firearm she had drawn. But oh well, the city was going to burn anyways. Whether Chauvin gets a guilty verdict or not, the city was going to burn soon.

and tasers are hundred percent safe?.....for both the victim and the officer? I saw a tazed subject laying on the ground screaming in one moment, in the next he was on his feet and shot two officers in one police video.

 

One problem I see with the short video is she looked down the sights of the pistol. But, IMO the root of the problem was that she lacked the physicality to help drag the perp out of the car. This is the downside to women cops. When the fur starts flying, they are out matched
