That’s how it’s being spun to make it sound because that sells more papers. The “journalists” will have very limited details about that actual shooting so you should be clear that anything they are reporting is largely speculation, guess work or literally made up.

England does indeed have due process and all the officers involved with be automatically investigated Independent Police Complaints Commission as happens any time a police officer fires a weapon (let alone actually kills a suspect).

The mantra of the liberals is "white privilege" and "patriarchy". No such things exist. There are literally 100s of colleges, 1000s of schools, and 95% of media institutionalizing the hatred of white men. To the point they can't even argue for a couple of policy changes without being called racists or sexists.

How do you feel about large corporations who market poisonous food to children, or stores that sell cigarettes and booze? More sickness, death and destruction come from them than any illegal drugs by far. We are raising a generation of fat slovenly children due to the junk food industry. Childhood obesity is at an all time high. Ten times more people die from cigarettes than from illegal drugs every year. Alcohol kills more people every year than illegal drugs also. We live in a free society and there are products available that can be dangerous if abused. Deal with it and stop calling for the deaths of people who sell them or use them.

 

Many things are unhealthy if abused. More people are addicted to alcohol, cigarettes and prescription drugs than heroin. I equate all of these products as dangerous if abused. Cheers

I don't know too many Twinkie addicts that commit crimes to feed their Twinkie addiction. Then again, maybe it's because they keep getting stuck in windows and can't get their fingers in a trigger well.

That is because twinkles haven't been made illegal. If heroin was legal, it would cost about the same as cheap wine per dose and there wouldn't be any crime associated to it. Heroin was developed by the same people who make Bayer aspirin and sold by Sears & Roebuck in their catalog for about .20 a dose with a clean needle. Nobody was breaking into houses to get money for it back then. The drug problem is a direct result of it's illegality. So called conservatives decided that we need a nanny state to protect idiots from themselves and started this moronic drug war which has been a full frontal attack on the US Constitution and our right to privacy.

 

Yes and no, the problem is certainly more complex and possibly more problematic due to illegality.

Alcohol, for example. Even though it's no longer illegal, it still causes plenty problems. It was certainly worse under Prohibition though, I will give you that.
