He had the votes to be the Majority leader and as the Majority leader he had the prerogative to schedule OR NOT schedule a vote. Duh, like I said, he acted in full compliance with existing rules and procedures at the time, the dems are planning to lie and cheat.

I do not like Kamala Harris. When he picked her I profoundly lamented it and posted accordingly. I sincerely hope that Biden doesn't croak in the next four years, if elected. His net worth is 9 million, half of it comes from valuation of his 4.5 million dollars waterfront house that he bought for much less decades ago, and the other half mostly from book sales. Forbes published a detailed analysis of his net worth and there is nothing there that comes from China. Just relatively recently when his son was dying of brain cancer he wanted to sell his house to help with the medical bills.

I think you are mixing up that piece of s.... Hunter Biden who seems to me like a crook, and addict, and an alimony dodger, with Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. The latter is the one running for president, and the latter didn't get rich in China and Ukraine.

I would expect a multi billionaire operation like Trump Enterprizes would always owe a fraction of his net worth wouldn't you? That's just business. Don't tell me you could begin to cipher all of his highly complicated tax forms. I (unlike most Democrats) would leave that up to the IRS and their multitude of lawyers.

 

So you must like to gamble? You can trust Joe Biden about as far as you can throw him. He will pack the court if told to do so. At best, he is a one term President. I think you better get used to Kamala if he is elected. She could never have done it on her own. If Biden was truly a Centrist, he would have put Tulsi Gabbard on his ticket. Trump is losing women in virtually every demographic group even in rural or red states. Trump is having more trouble with less educated white males, and seniors. Last time Trump did not have a record to defend. Really hard to sell yourself as the solution to problems when you've been President for 4 years - not solving those problems.

On the other hand Biden is a lot more likable than Hillary, more trusted than Hillary and not as scandal scared as the Clintons.

This election is only partially up to the electorate this time, thanks to the virus, and an administration and GOP that will use any flimsy excuse to toss out ballots and foster mistrust and conspiracies. My secret worry is that a lot of county election boards, and Secretaries of state ( state level) have made accommodation for social distancing rules, trying desperately to save these elections and lives, without paying enough attention to process, without seeing to it that state legislatures were called into emergency session to pass supporting legislation with an affixed Governors signature and that may bite a lot of voters in the backside. Courts will be asking a lot of 'where'd you get the authority?' kinds of questions and they may not like the answers. I live in Oregon so all our processes that accomplish these same goals,have been fully vetted over a decade. This is the perfect state to vote in if you want that ballot counted without standing in line for 8 hours next to someone coughing and a five year old sneezing and complaining of a headache 4 feet further. . I sure hope I am wrong here, but other states are sort of winging this on the fly.....I do worry.
