OK, so now you want to try to be insulting. In fact, yes, you succeeded in being insulting.

My bet is that you are thinking that there is no possibility of philosophy, ethics, morality outside of YOUR religion.

    But, that is obvious nonsense.

If there is a divide between religion and science, it reflects the fact thay the address fundamentally different questions

Incompatibility arises imo when people ignore that reality
When adherents from one domain start trying to contest issues in the other domain
There can never be a scientific basis to prove there is no god
Nor can religious exponents use god as a convincing critique of a scientific issue

Humans developed intelligence as our adaptive mechanism we are not the strongest, or fastest or necessarily the best animal in other areas like ability to survive naturally in unforgiving environments but we can study our world and use inventions and reason to adapt it to our needs by using intelligence. Nature happened to favor us randomly in that area over previous members of our species. Then we lucked out that intelligence was the best mechanism for our ascendance. Since we are a predator species its also fitting we are intelligent. It might be the case intelligence like ours is very rare in the universe for comparison a shark is very successful but not intelligent. In fact they in the ocean is a superior natural predator by far so its adapted to its world well.

But its not the case of design we happen to be in a successful universe which happened to have our world survive where it was and happened to make lots of species and we happened to advance to our place on our blue ball in the vastness of the universe over say we dying off and the planet having no intelligent technological species on it at all. Worlds like that could be the most common of worlds with life for all we know.

But say each average galaxy had on intelligent species rise using the Drake Equation at a (*)(*)(*)(*) poor chance of advanced life that would still leave billions in the universe, assuming some have one species and others a few if large perhaps and some none at all. Its just possible we will never see an alien in a space ship ever since we might be the only ones that advanced in our galaxy.

I couldn't agree more. They have different root assumptions, they have different logic, they are interested in different questions ("why" and "how"), etc.

Given the fact of our limited understanding as humans, it seems like it shouldn't be that hard to understand that we aren't going to have perfectly meshing answers.

True. Plus if some alien in a truly distant galaxy were to spot us and decide to visit, it could take them billions of years even at the speed of light. Could they survive that kind of trip? Would earth still be here when they arrived?

Though attempting to figure out what you are attempting to convey is a struggle....I think I got the basics. There has yet to be a single thread on this forum or any other in which Christian fundys have responded to questions asked in a way that makes sense to non-Christian fundys. Instead we usually get what you just spewed and end up with Trumpism....." It's true because I say it is and I am honest."

Science fiction entails imagined and slightly possible events written in a way as to capture human imagination...does that sound familiar to you?

Maybe Zombies, Worldwide disasters, omnipotent aliens, unbelievable miracles...etc....

I've asked several questions on the thread mentioned, and have had either no answers, or answers from some strange 'Bible' and a 'History' more like 2 jigsaw puzzles mixed together. :wall:

It helps to go into it understanding what you are dealing with and therefore what to expect. Your debate partner is either complexly corrupted and incapable of logical thought, or simply incompetent in scientific thought. Thus you will never receive useful reply to coherent questions and must accept the gibberish provided for what it is.

It is not actually surprising or worthy of disdain...they really have no choice.

Best to use the mental ignore function or make a game of it.

Actually there were 2 and they are both completely indoctrinated. It's just interesting to see the wriggling and the ignorance of the Bible which they support.

Ah well. It's now 23.00 here and bedtime. Have a good day.

Science is not wrong evolution has already been proven by science to be accurate but not 100% when it comes to humans.
There is no question that animals have animal intelligence all according to their own kind and none of those animals have evolved to have human intelligence only humans have acquired human intelligence.
Humans are the one that are trying to influence other animals to be like humans.
The reason the theory of evolution survive is because it is understood by the scientific community that it is just a theory and the church have no problem with that but it stops be a theory when some people actually believe it is real just like atheist here believe that none human animals have human intelligence that position is refer to as science fiction.

What I learn from this thread is that atheist do not believe in God or any religion that is a given.
That atheist can't differentiate human intelligence from animal intelligence or science fiction from scientific theory.
That atheist in this thread actually believe that none human animals have or can evolved to acquire human intelligence without an intelligent design that it will just happen one day.

Biology has shown us that no living things has the kind of intelligence as humans only humans research and do biology the dogs, the chimps the dolphins none of them do biology.

Science fiction is not science theory and that is the main problem of atheist here they really believe science fiction is real with their imagination that chimps can be auto mechanics.

Saying that atheist do not believe in sin is insulting?
Are acknowledging that atheist atheist do believe that none human animals have human intelligence or can acquire human intelligence just like in the science fiction movie Planet of the Apes or Island of Dr. Monroe is insulting? Why insulting?

Philosophy, ethics and morality goes hand in hand with Christianity that is why human intelligence for atheist can be understood better through philosophy since atheist do not believe in religion and since human intelligence can not be explain by science.

I can only think your interpretation of "Atheists" come from the same strange imagination that creates the interesting twists on both reality and Christianity.
I will state quite clearly for the record however, that this particular Atheist does not believe science fiction to be real, knows why they add the term "Fiction" and what it actually means, do not think Chimps can fix cars (or even know what they are), and have no idea why you are incapable of understanding or accepting things expressed to you in very plain English unless you are simply a special needs child who has escaped adult supervision.

Science Fiction: anything said by WanRen about science.

I don't respond to that chatbot. He's spoofing this forum with his fake language translation, and even more fake lack of comprehension. I'm not buying it.

Probably because Atheists are not an organized group of people. They are a very diverse group of many, many facets who just happen to not believe in other peoples God.

    Also...I doubt most really care.

The world of religion includes a number of ideas related to human origins.

There are Christians who hold to a strictly literal 6 day creation interpretation of Genesis. There are Christians who think Genesis is slightly metaphorical (what is a day, what is light, etc.). There are Christians who accept the scientific explanation of human origin, but that their God was guiding it all along the way (this is ID). There are Christians who think God set up the right starting conditions for the purely scientific explanation to have created humans (thus with no conflict at least back to abiogenesis or the "big bang"). There are Christians who separate science and religion, allowing them to take part in scientific investigation without fear that it could challenge their belief. I suspect there are Christians who simply don't see questions of creation or evolution as being so central to their belief. There is the Pope who (along with the previous pope) has stated that science and religion are two separate realms and given that we are humans there will be differences we don't know how to resolve.

I say this to point out that your particular religious belief is not the only religious direction supported by Christians.

You need to back off and think about this.

Your idea that people either share your belief about human origins or they aren't Christian is nonsense.

lol! That would sure put the question of origins in its place!

There would be so many larger issues that we wouldn't have to worry about creation/evolution during our lifetimes!

When it comes to imagination we already see just how most atheist here are so good in treating imaginations that none human animals posses human intelligence as real.

The fact of the matter is there is zero evidence as of today and for the past million of years that no single none human creature has evolved or acquire human intelligence only humans have acquire human intelligence. This is not about being Christian or not this is about accepting what factual science is.

I am stepping back and accepting that most atheist in this thread really believe and accept that certain none human animals do possess human intelligence.
When it comes to questioning what is a day, what is night, is there God or no God is there many gods, are there other living creatures in other planets??? all these are being raised only by humans among humans no other none human creatures are or raising those questions because they do not have human intelligence.

Don't step back too far, you're about to fall off. No-one says that non-human animals possess human intelligence. Many non-human animals possess simple intelligence. Some, in a million or so years, may have developed intelligence to rival today's human intelligence.

Many moons ago told you it is non-human (not human) and not none human

Animals display a range of intelligence with humans having more than others.

That is not evidence against human evolution.
