He has already Reduced the deficit. Barack The Debtor had already added several hundred BILLION to the Federal debt by this point in his presidency.

By any objective measure, clearly The Trumpster is the vastly superior president.

Hillary or Jeb! would have been simply terrible. We dodged both bullets!

Which would be a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing miracle, considering he has not submitted a budget yet. Does Trump have a time machine or something?

Trump's budget proposal is ridiculous, and it doesn't have a chance of passing Congress without major revisions.

If you would stop whining long enough to actually review what he has done so far, and where he is headed, you could see the forest for the trees.
I have invested in "Kleenex" stock, and since the election it has gone up 10%, so keep crying, if it suits you, and obviously it does

Despite his anti-immigration ban, alternative facts, and fake news claims, the majority of Americans believe President Donald Trump is a strong, decisive leader who keeps his promises, according to a new Gallup poll.

After the last 8 years the lefties just ain't used to this.

He has done almost nothing so far. The vast majority of his executive orders are merely statements of intent to abide by laws already on the books.

I agree with the A+ for effort. He is trying to work on fulfilling his campaign promises DESPITE the fact that he does NOT have his complete Cabinet because of Democrat obstructionism. He has done more in 1 month than Obama did in 8 years. Do you think that Obama was devoid of a superego? LOL
But you are yet again disingenuous because he also gave himself a C or C+ on getting his message out.

That seems like a bit of an editorialized point.

Is there any chance that the reason "several hundred billion" was added to the deficit in the first few months of the Obama presidency compared to a reduction of the deficit during a small part of the Trump presidency, is there ANY chance that might be the result of the recession that was in full swing during the first few months of the Obama administration? Compared to the record period of private sector job growth seen during the period immediately leading into the Trump administration?

    Any chance at all?

Well he managed to convince his supporters that he has somehow done more in one month despite the fact that he has signed almost zero legislation, the fact that the overwhelming majority of his executive orders were mere expressions of an intent to follow laws already on the books, or had his most signature executive order immediately struck down.

So he must be doing AMAZING in the communication department.

The guy who wrote this story is obviously a sore loser and a millennial. No professional journalist is going to write childish High School garbage like "the Trump-loving hosts" or "Commander-in-tweet." I wouldn't ok a negative article either if I were Trump, you people take anything he says and make it into a negative story. It's old and lame and ridiculous. Love how the author also referred to him as "Trump" the entire time. Not that I care, because that's also what I say when I'm talking about him, but these are the same people the went into rage mode if you said "Obama" instead of "President or Mr. Obama."

I see where you get your dumb stories, too, the next story up on the NYDaily News is "Trump Wrong in Claiming Tiles Fall Off NYC Tunnels." OH GAD! NO! Not the tiles!!

A majority of Americans also disapprove of his job performance. It took Obama about 2 years to reach that mark.

How many of his "Day-One" promises did he keep?

That has to be against the rules at PF.... Right?

    Outright plagiarism, with no attribution.

It is certainly the sort of dishonest behavior that gives all Trump supporters a bad name.

Hopefully the member in question will come to realize that such long-form plagiarism is easily uncovered.

Although, that sort of posting behavior coming from the pro-Trump echo chamber is not surprising.

(Especially coming from someone who joined 27 days ago and seems to do nothing but post troll bait aimed at currying favor with PF's pro-Trump echo chamber).

It is rather sad when a new member feels the need to resort to plagiarism to get a few attaboys.

Since you have never seen a newly elected president start keeping his promises, even before he took office, to not give him an A for effort is because of personal pettiness and hatred. He could be the most successful president in a hundred years and the trump haters would never admit it. So, what you guys think is really moot. Irrelevant, totally, completely, utterly. Not like there is one dot of objectivity involved with the opinions of his haters. For you cannot hate and be objective. It corrupts the mind. We can observe this in you and others here. Unlike you guys, if he starts doing other than he promised, you will have many of his supporters pissed off at him. But that you guys put up with the criminality of Hillary means she could never do any wrong. So trump supporters are not so blind as the faux liberals. They voted for what he promised them, Hillary voters voted for her because she was a woman, and not because of anything she promised. For we know from her history, her word is worthless and her lies are meaningful, very consequential. She lied about getting fired on, which is the caliber of trump lies, but her other lies, trump has never come close to the quality. Yet you guys were fine with her lies, which come from her own corruption and voted for her. Just more hypocrisy from the faux liberals.

Yes indeed... We all figured that out in 2009 when Obama told McCain to be quiet because he lost.

To be fair, business confidence always does well with Republicans as they know that Rs will bend over backwards to facilitate their needs. Regardless of whether that need is good for the country or the people overall.

Which is funny, as Dems generally do the same, with the added benefit of Rhetoric decrying business at the expense of people.

Not really. Obama doubled the national debt and when he bothered to submit a budget, it was nearly always late. His March Madness brackets, now those were ALWAYS on time!

Highest since before 9/11. That's more than doing well. And this is consumer, not business, confidence.
