For the first two years of the Obama Administration, Progressives took a lot of ground. There was: Health Care for All Americans Wall Street Reform Avoiding another Great Depression Saving a million jobs in the American auto industry Expanding Medicaid Eliminating Don't Ask Don't Tell Expanding Children's Health Environmental Reform Expanding Labor Rights Expanding Civil Liberties Equal Pay for Equal Work Ending the War in Iraq.
Health Care for All Americans-Unconstitutional Wall Street Reform-cost taxpayers more money Avoiding another Great Depression-a lot of our stats are still depression stats Saving a million jobs in the American auto industry-and losing 2 million Expanding Medicaid-more entitlements we can't afford Eliminating Don't Ask Don't Tell-big deal Expanding Children's Health-more entitlements we can't afford Environmental Reform-cost taxpayers more money, higher taxes, more regulation Expanding Labor Rights-forcing private companies into unions Expanding Civil Liberties-Ubama has assaulted civil liberties Equal Pay for Equal Work-it's improved little under Ubama Ending the War in Iraq.-on Bushy's timeline Yeah, those are great...LMFAO!!!!!
Not to mention, Obama did NOT kill Bin Ladin. That was the well-executed work of the elite Navy Seals. It's pretty pathetic to give that man credit for something as exemplary as that.
It's only the Obama boot-lickers who give him credit for bin laden. Hell, Obama's such a wimp, he couldn't personally kill a fly with a flyswatter... why do you think he married MO? He's certainly doing NOTHING today. Wonder who he holes up in that second floor study with now that Reggie Love's gone?
Monday, March 5, 2012 9:30 am || Meets with senior advisers 10:45 am || Meets with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu Noon Expanded lunch meeting with Netanyahu 3:45 pm || Meets with Treasury Secretary Geithner 4:45 pm || Meets with Defense Secretary Panetta Tuesday, March 6, 2012 10:00 am || Receives the Presidential Daily Briefing 1:15 pm || Holds a news conference; Brady Press Briefing Room 5:30 pm || Attends a fundraiser; The Jefferson Hotel, Washington 7:10 pm || Meets with members of the Business Roundtable *** Hopefully, Obama's news conference this afternoon will include his pledge to do everything possible to reduce the cost of gasoline -- up to and including encouraging drilling for oil & gas on our own soil. According to the WSJ, such a declaration would go far toward reassuring speculators there will be increasing supplies of gas & oil which could immediately lower the price of gasoline in the US. Shall we keep our fingers crossed?
Live feed to Obama's news conference. He's gotten a question about gas prices... he made a joke out of it. "Do you think any president in an election year wants gas prices to go higher?" Maybe he should talk to his Energy Secretary Chu: Sept. 2008: Blah, blah, blah, blah... nothing. LOL, he's a little defensive since one reporter asked him why in 3 years as president, he's never visited Israel. Campaign speech, folks... nothing to see here.

Holly Truck Manufacturing Plant 12:45 pm || Delivers remarks at manufacturing plant 1:45 pm || Departs Charlotte 3:15 pm || Arrives White House Gallup: Obama Approval at 43 Percent Theres been a lot of talk about the resurgent President Obama, the gleeful Obama 2012 campaign headquarters, the newly rollicking economy, the diminishing prospects for Republican presidential contenders, and the drapes being measure for the Obama second term Oval Office redesign. And so, I just want to note that, while I hate to rain on the parade at campaign headquarters in Chicago, the most respected polling firm in America, Gallup, today puts Obamas approval rating at 43 percent. Fully 48 percent disapprove. Thats right about where his approval has been for nearly a year, not including a brief bump last May after Obama offed Osama. The Obama revival talk is mostly spin, eagerly being gobbled up by the presidents friends in the media. Rising gas prices arent going to help. The likelihood that the unemployment rate will fall much more isnt going to help. Speaking of which, the February jobless rate comes out Friday. From what Im reading, it may not be everything Obama always wanted. Obama may be reelected. But dont believe the headlines. Right now, hes not in a good place. *** Maybe the reason Obama's dropping in the polls is because of trips like the one he's taking today... no real purpose except campaigning. Might give him a bump if he was touring the states hardest hit by the devastating tornados... but nooooooooo. Tornado victims aren't as interested in listening to him blow his own horn as those union workers are.

Thank you, Mr. President, may we have another?

Of course that doesn't concern you since you'll be using AF1 to get to the basketball game. Just thought you'd like to know what it's like for folks in the real world today.
Sure... do you need a note? "Please excuse Jenda from work today. Someone needs to go along who can explain basketball to the Prime Minister of Britian and Barack will be too busy kissing babies." Please be ready when AF1 lands to pick you up, Jenda... they get testy if they have to wait.
Not to mention the B.S. the folks running the tournament have to deal with, because his highness wanted to go to a basketball game. Keep digging, Barack.
