How about you explain how children are being ‘groomed’ and ‘sexually indoctrinated’ by drag queens. How would a child attending a story hour with books read by drag queens be an attempt at sexual abuse? Explain how listening to a story read by men dressed up in woman’s clothing is going to influence a child’s sexual orientation or gender identity?

Why not apply the same thinking for little boys watching cheerleaders at a football game with their big plastic boobs bouncing all over the place? Maybe they are trying to entice the little boys into some kind of pedophilic activity with them. Perhaps, there should be legislation that doesn’t allow children at sports events with cheerleaders due to potential grooming. Maybe these cheerleaders are trying to groom and indoctrinate boys into wishing they had big boobies too, therefore identifying as a female. How ridiculous is that? There is no narrative like that because cheerleaders aren’t identified as lesbian, transgenders, drag queens etc. They are associated with the ‘manly’ sport of football so nothing for the narrow minded extremists to fear. It’s all alright isn’t it, for them to shake their big boobies in little children’s faces because they aren’t part of the group you are trying to paint as pedophiles, groomers and indoctrinators.

Back to the original question, how would a drag queen at a library story entrap and abuse a child in this setting? How would a drag queen make a child want to change genders? Explain that.

It's a simple question. Shouldn't be difficult to answer. Unless your response would have to be something like "it's against my religious prejudice. And my faith calls for me to impose my belief on others..." or something like that. What is wrong with children watching people dressed in drags? Men in women's clothes. It's not like they're undressed, or anything of the sort.

Also...

The point of a gay pride parade is to proclaim that gay people (including gay children) should be just as proud of who they are as anybody else is. Thus the term "pride". Children not being allowed defeats the whole purpose. It transmits the message that gay people should be ashamed. Which is idiotic.

And, in any case, why is it any of your business? Why is it the government's business to shame people... shame children... for who they are? When did the right stop believing that it's a parent's job, not the government's, to raise their children?

I have never seen a pride parade. So I don't know what they're like. But I see nothing wrong with people dressing any way they want.

But if a student confides to their teacher as to sexual orientation, and asks them not to tell their parents, why would it be the teacher's place to tell them? Especially if the parents are bigots who.... who knows how they would react. They should help the student plan how to tell them, or help them find professional help to figure out how to.

I don't speak for other people, but my ASSUMPTION is he wants to compare the athletic sport of cheerleading to the sexual indoctrination of children. I think it shows a complete lack of disrespect for womens sports personally, but we are talking about the same groups of people that think its OK for a 6'4" 300 LB man to WRECK women in women's sports, so hey, what to I know. My daughter was a competitive cheerleader. I didn't like it for other reasons (the parental cheer-moms were off putting and annoying) like the internal politics, but it wasn't sexually exploitive. I don't recall them grinding on each other or adult males. So it's a bad example.
