the evidence will be all the clinics being shut down. effectively dropping the numbers. sure, they will go underground like prohibition, but at least there won't be one on every corner and running comericals and newspaper ads for it. AND, the thought of going to a some shady, dirty, kitchen of some tarot card reading witchdoctor for an abortion will turn those teen moms off so fast your head will spin. again, some will still get the abortion, but not the multitudes.

AND to my point, I truly believe that the Abortion clinics are a suppository for people who are into ritualistic things that require innocent blood.

You seem to think that women will still want abortions if the clinics are shut down. NO. See, when you don't have something there to give you that out, you don'thave a choice but to abstain or learn to raise that baby you got in your stomach, because with the clinics gone, there will be no way to do an abortion legally. when you put "crime" on it, people recognize.

just like crack. if you take it out of the ghettos, the people who smoke it won't travel miles to find it, they will just give it up.

Planned Parenthood offers teen moms an out, and that'sjust wrong. and sick.

People need to be held accountable for their decisions. it sends a bad message that accountability is not needed since Planned parenthood is there to help you get rid of your "problem" .

 

If there is no way to have a legal abortion, women will have illegal ones, even if it means risking their lives. That is the way it has always been, here and in other countries. Criminalizing abortion does not save "babies;" it only means more women desperate to control the timing and number of their children will die.

 

OK lets set aside your denial that a fetus is a human being for a moment and I ask you to answer this question:

Why should the law protect a would be killer at the expense of the victim of the killing?

no more than maybe 100/year doing it illegally if abortion is criminalized.


I think the 4,900 drop in abortions is way better result and puts a major dent in the baby killing industry's bottomline.

Where did you pull your figures from? Empirical evidence has shown consistently that criminalizing abortion makes no difference in the rate of abortion; it only dramatically increases the maternal death rate.

I would agree with you more, if there were better prevention methods available on the market. With sufficient convenience, there may be no reason why a woman would not prefer prevention to the medical procedure of abortion.

 

The contraceptives we have work good, sure we are still working to make even better but it takes time.
