In my review i say at the beggining that i dont care to impres anybody. Also a lot of people hated it because i get into religion and most people here are atheists, so it got locked
Actually in that movie she seemed more hot than Charlize Theron did. Maybe it was the way she was made up but I thought for half the movie that Theron's character was another android.
Have you seen their "Plinkett" reviews of the newer Star Wars and Star Trek films? And Plinkett did a few others as well, such as Avatar. Very funny stuff! redlettermedia.com to find it all..
I think androids have taken over Hollywood, actually. Android actors and actresses. Not sure whether the script writers and directors are androids as well, or maybe just aping apes.
Charlize Theron could have turned "Tree of Life" into a good movie. I haven't seen anything that awful in a long time.
Noomi Rapace: I have just realised that I have to buy 'The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo', 'The Girl Who Played With Fire' and 'The Girl Who Kicked The Hornets Nest' because all three films star Noomi. I can't believe I didn't know this before!
1) What killed the Engineers on the planet? (we see a load of dead bodies but it's never explained what happened to them). 2) Why the Engineers would leave a 'star map' on Earth pointing to a planet where they store their biological weapons they're stockpiling to destroy Earth? 3) The motivations of David don't seem to make much sense, why did he infect Holloway with the black goo when he doesn't even know what it does? 4) How the scientists don't realize there's more than one ship on the planet. Didn't they think to explore the surface before going straight into the first pyramid they see? 5) Why Shaw would want to go to the Engineer's homeworld when it's clear they want to kill us all? 6) How Shaw and David's head manage to hijack a second alien ship without any problems? 7) How did Fifield/Millburn get lost despite having a 3D map of the area and comms system? Why did Millburn thinking it's a good idea to stroke an alien snake that looks like a cobra? 9) Why did Weyland say he was dead in the video briefing then hide himself on the ship? There's literally no logical reason why he would need to do that. 10) Why the two crewmembers Shaw attacks after she wakes up from David's anesthetic not bothering to chase after her or alert anyone? 11) How Shaw managed to get into the medical pod room, considering it was in Vicker's private quarters? 12) No one noticing there's an alien squid growing on their ship? 13) Why Weyland thinks the Engineers will be able to prolong his life?
1. Probably the same thing that killed the engineer we see in the first scene. 2. No idea. 3. I don't understand this one either. 4. They assumed they were alone. They had no reason to suspect there was another ship. 5. To ask them why, as she explains in the final scene. 6. They don't hijack it. The ship crashed when Prometheus hit it. The ship was disabled and the engineer held at bay by the alien creature. 7. I imagine it would be very easy to get lost in a place you have never been to before, even with a map. 8. He had no reason to suspect it was dangerous. 9. I imagine this is because he didn't want the crew (and Vickers) knowing he wanted to tag along for the ride. 10. Was this when the whole crew woke? 11. Was the door locked? 12. The crew were otherwise occupied. 13. Because they created humans, they must know.
I had no idea, but I'm going to buy the films and read the books! And Noomi has a new film coming out next year...Dead Man something, I think.
Yes i have, and they are idiotic, of course im 39 and mayhe his jokes are for kids. He is a sad person.
Here's some other interesting questions...
I buy most DVD's without having seen the movie, and I will buy these as well. Add them to my collection. Besides, they star Noomi (who the hell calls their kid Noomi?)
On the long list of questions.... there is only one thing in the world worse than being talked about, and that is not being talked about.
That's you and me finished. It was the worst film I've seen for years. I can't believe you sent me there. Absolutely tragic. Disjointed, poor continuity, incredible characters (I mean in credible, not credible) and the monster was a big octopus. Tragic.
