Micah Isaiah Rhodes was in front of an Oregon judge and was granted mercy for the second time in several weeks. He was given five years of probation for his role in a crime that involved sexual contact with an underage teenage boy. It was Multnomah County Circuit Judge Jerry Hodson who decided that five years of probation was better than 2 1/2 years in prison because he believes that Rhodes is trying to change the way he behaves and avoid further incidents with underage teens. This isn't the first time Rhodes avoided jail for alleged contact or sexual behavior with a boy or girl who is underage and he reportedly has a history of abusing children. Rhodes was 20 and then 21 at the time he committed the crimes which took place back in 2014 and 2015. Since then he's been more of a protester than a sexual offender. Back in March Rhodes pleaded guilty to "two counts of felony second-degree sexual abuse" because he had sexual contact with a 17-year-old boy at least twice. According to the story on Oregon Live, the pair met on a gay dating app. Just days before, a jury in Washington County found Rhodes guilty of "second-degree sexual abuse of a 17-year-old girl." A memo stated that he and the girl watched a movie at his mother's house and that's where the contact occurred. Oregon law states that it is illegal for an adult to have sexual relations with a minor if there are more than three years in age difference and the Washington state age of consent is 18. source
I live in the mountains. We could have the party up here. Lots of land. Where is a more fun than a place where guns, chainsaws, ATVs, whiskey and backhoes are plentiful? Nothing spells fun like an armed drunk mountain boy with a chainsaw on an ATV. Don't forget to bring gasoline and some black powder.
I got a rope in my trunk. Don't know why, it was there when I bought it. Maybe we could tow his car if he get's stuck in the mud in the mountains?
