It wasn't but a month or 2 ago, that Biden and Obama were talking about a "summer of recovery". Where did that go? I know there never was one, I am being facetious, but just thought it was telling how suddenly that propaganda fell off the map.

Well you can't print more money to solve a problem caused by printing too much money. So, reality happened?

So my take is, that nobody really believes we are in a recovery like they were saying we were?

Nobody ever said this was a Summer of Recovery. Nobody. It's been scrubbed. Get with the times. And, besides, it's all Washington's fault and President Obama has hardly ever been in Washington and when he was he didn't do anything so you can't blame him. Oh, and Reid and Pelosi did Obamacare. You can't blame him for that. And he didn't even want that (*)(*)(*)(*) campaign bus.

    Breaking News: White House

Because of inadequate funding and the impact of global warning, the "Summer of Recovery" has been postponed indefinitely.

    Thank You for your patience.

Not at all. I was pretty sure I was correct when I wrote it. Okay, so I was being a tad sarcastic but I didn't need to convince myself of anything.

Couple of guests on Charlie Rose tonight talking about the economy...

... one made the point that its going to take consumer demand to get the economy going again...

... that got me to thinking...

... what will happen to consumer demand when the premiums of Obamacare demand to be paid?

Seems to me that will shunt money from most peoples' pocketbooks away from buying goods and services...

.. to paying the premiums instead of spurring the economy.

Unfortunately the "Summer of Recovery" followed the "Winter of Our Discontent".

Republicans Win House Majority, Make Senate Gains in Wave Election

So what happened to all those jobs that extending the Bush Tax Cuts were supposed to create?

How many bills focusing on jobs have been passed by the House?

    Thanks a bunch t-baggers.

You can't hide the facts, no year since 2008 has had under 9% unemployment, stimulus and all. The talk about the Bush Tax cuts, the stimulus cost more in one year then in all 9 of the cuts. It'll be the forescore recovery if the Democrats hold on to power in the congress which is very unlikely.
