Racism - Why Do So Many People Hate Black People?

I really don't know. I have many African-American friends and I respect their community. It's a shame we let stereotypes and bad people in each race determine the whole outlook of a race. Many African-Americans try their best like all races and not all are bad people. There are bad people in each race.

I can hope this changes one day. Racism is SAD.

 

How do you know that African-Americans suck at everything they do?

 

It is very sad you hate a race for those very immature reasons. How do you know there not are not smart blacks like Asians/Whites? Not all Asians/Whites are smart and there are smart Blacks. What does affirmative action have to do with anything?

Affirmative action help PROMOTE equal opportunity. That is a GREAT thing of America, sorry but a company should not stop from hiring someone because of their sex, race, or ect.

Equal opportunity means just that - nobody is excluded due to irrelevant qualifications such as race. It most certainly does not mean being forced by government mandate to include or hire a person merely on the basis of their race, just as surely as it doesn't mean excluding or not hiring because of a person's race. Hiring and educational quotas or race ratios are most certainly NOT what is great about America. These are an abomination to opportunity FOR ALL.. They are by the very nature of their intent, exclusionary and definitely NOT examples of equal opportunity - they are government enforced discrimination.

 

I was suggesting something I do not believe as an illustration of the ignorance of the position about white, and asian intelligence racists like to site. So of course it sounded ignorant.

 

Great analogy! I scored a 99% on a civil service exam but the job went to a "minority" who scored an 82% on the same test due to the extra points he received because of his minority status.

I think the question should be looked at like this: "Why do so many black people induce so much hate against themselves?"

Kind of like the way Jews should look at themselves. How is it that throughout all of time they have been hated where ever they leech onto? Is it us or them?

Same thing with the blacks in America. They should look at themselves as the source to why they are hated so much.

Racial quotas are more harmful, than their intended good.

 

Look at themselves? You do realize that only one African-American represent themselves? One person does not speak for an entire race. Where did some of you get your education from? African-Americans went through slavery, hell if whites had went through slavery we would not hear the end of it.

 

Now that Democrats have enslaved American Blacks to their seeming perpetual role as dependents of the US government, I doubt we'll be hearing much from them in the future either - that is, other than the usual screams of racism when there's a hint of threat that they may not get preferential treatment.

Not only is that statement untrue, but it ignores the realty. We have tried, and in some cases still are, trying the racial quota system, in education and government hiring.

The result has been disaster and the crime statistics have grown worse and worse.

there are more white women than blacks total, no (*)(*)(*)(*) they benefit more. the thing is they dont need a learning curve to get a job , i.e. they dont get jobs by scoring a 68 on a test over someone who scores a 92 unlike other groups.

 

I must disagree. Where there were affirmative action quotas for women in the workplace years ago, women have EARNED their place in all areas, including the legal profession and as the head of corporations.

Can anyone seriously suggest IBM appointed the first woman chairman ever BECAUSE she is a woman?

And I will accept that there is not a prejudice towards women in high places in America when the country accepts the concept of a woman president...which, after what happened to Hillary, Palin and Bachmann, I doubt will happen in my lifetime,

 

They should stop blaming others and stop blaming slavery. The whites tried to help them out many times since. Also, if we are going to play that game well then what about the Africans that willing traded their own into slavery? Whites have been in slavery in the past in different parts of the world. See you exemplify what I'm talking about. Rhetoric like yours only makes people hate blacks in America even more so.
