I said that if you didn't want to talk about it we could refrain from that sort of conversation and asked you what your problem with my definition of racism is. But you haven't given an answer. All that proved is the race-nazis have terrorized everyone with the label of "racist" to the point that anyone with dark skin tones can say anything they want and never be held to the same standard thet themselves hold everyone else to. That is racist in itself. MLK wanted everyone to be judged by their character and not the color of their skin. You judge people by their skin color (even though you don't know what skin color anyone here has). By MLK Jr.'s definition YOU are the bigoted racist here. The only people I have called a racist are people actually being racist. You said I judge people by their skin color which is a lie. If you have then show me or address it now.
Those posts are not directed at me and my specific definition of racism. I didn't duck anything. When you challenged Fugazi to define the word racist and show how you fit the definition I made a post both defining it and showing that you fit the definition. You ignored it. So once again, what problem do you have with my definition of racism as I defined it?
My problem with racism as you defined it was that you spent most of your post applying it to me. If you'd like to start again with some basic civility I'd be happy to respond.
What problem do you have with the third definition that I supplied e.g. racism = hatred or intolerance based on race?
Even one of those quotes has been staged in order to project things that they simple don't, that is dishonest on the part of what-ever web site they were lifted from and dishonest of the poster for using them. The very first one on that list has been doctored by the addition of [Muslims and Arabic Immigrants in USA] when in reality the original quote is very different. Of course, not all my conversations in immigrant communities follow this easy pattern. In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans, for example, have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging. And yes the dictionaries are wrong because they contradict both each other and modern usage of the word "racist", which is applied to people who suggest biological behavior differences or even who talk about race.
