Prom, prom, prom, you have been shown repeatedly that her own chart proves her actual assertion in the OP completely wrong. Yes whet she said has been successfully refuted!!!!! What she said in the OP was a lie.
I do not agree. The point she tried to make was that they are the SOLE group of people opposing legal abortion. Even her own data shows that to be a lie.
Your initial flamebaiting comment ONLY Evangelical Protestants oppose legal abortion." (actually cut and pasted from your post) makes anything else yu say here suspect.
Perhaps you missed it Whaler but she corrected herself. http://www.politicalforum.com/4262284-post196.html
Only after being nailed to the wall so she had to. I didn't miss it, but it was too little too late. Pro abortion folks have to lie to support their position. My job is to expose those lies.
I might, what do you care? The thread should be closed if she has admitted that she lied in the flamebaiting OP.
Failing to spell something out to the nth degree is not a lie. Twisting something not spelled out to the nth degree IS a lie. Twisting statistics in order to mislead IS a lie. In order to expose lies, you have to be able to recognize them. So is your failure a failure of recognition or a deliberate attempt to mislead.
"ONLY Evangelical Protestants oppose legal abortion." Nice try Granny, but that is not the case here. You posted an outright lie as a flamebaiting attempt.
Nice try at demonization, Whaler. Look at the OP chart again: According to the chart, the Evangelical Protestant affiliation is the only affiliation that opposes legal abortion, therefore, "Only Evangelical Protestants oppose legal abortion" is a true statement. The title of the chart makes it clear what was meant. After the attempt by some poster(s) to derail the thread, Grannie made this clarification: "I should have said clearly that ONLY Evangelical Protestants as a MAJORITY oppose legal abortion." However, that clarification was only necessary for those who were unable to read the posted chart, (or chose to intentionally distort it). Can we discuss the chart findings now? For one thing, it dispels the widely held myth that most Christians oppose legal abortion.
You could not be more wrong. There are "unaffiliated" voters who oppose legal abortion clearly shown on the chart. The lack of ability to read a chart evident here is astounding.
You are howling at the moon on this one, I have never asserted that ALL Christians oppose legal abortion. In fact, your assertion that this isn't true actually drives home my point that Granny's assertion is a lie.
I didn't say you made that assertion. I'm trying to discuss the chart, not posters. Why are you attempting to derail this thread? Do you deny there is a false perception that all Christians oppose legal abortion?
I asked you first, please stop the evasions. Again, do you deny there is a false perception that all Christians oppose legal abortion?
I have reason to believe that there is such a perception and I don't even know who you are claiming has this perception. Your strawman nonsense is getting very old.
Oops, Freudian slip... Republicans do in virtually every campaign platform; opposition to legal abortion is included in so called "traditional family values," AKA "Christian values."
Again where is your proof? Where is there any assertion that ALL Christians beleive any particular political stance?
Your post there proves that pro abortion posters, like you, are bigots and are not as smart as the average Christian.
