Yes, definitely. Rational thinking relying on facts, societal norms, traditions and legal principles, thus can reach a pragmatic decision not influenced by someone's dogma. Clearly, you must be told what to think and how to act as opposed to reaching your own conclusions based on the above criteria. I doubt it...
