Nothing wrong with following the law and removing seditious traitors.

LOL you said 'that's not how our court works' and I just proved that's exactly how our system works. Apples to oranges is a pathetic response after plainly losing your argument.

I'm not losing the argument, because the Supreme Court didn't do anything illegal, or unconstitutional.

I don't think he has the power to stop or pardon the state cases, only federal. Though as I recall, the federal cases are easier to sell to a jury. I'm sure Biden could win a debate, but it wouldn't move the needle.

There's something wrong with denying a United States citizen of his right to due process of the law.

A court removing his name is due process of the law. LOL

In this thread, we're talking about Trump. You're going to disagree, of course, post some smart ass ****, call me names, alter my post, or whatever. Then go crying to the mods. There, our exchange is done...lol

The court declared him guilty of a crime without a trial. That violated the 5th and 6th Amendments.

Nope, 14th says nothing about being 'convicted' of sedition. Only having engaged or abetting in sedition.

The 5th and 6th Amendments say, respectively, "due process and "right to a jury trial". Nothing in the 14th Amendment suspends the 5th and 6th Amendments.

He received no notice and opportunity to be heard?

Was he indicted? Was a jury selected? Was the defense allowed to cross examine witnesses? I didn't think so, either. What infantile insults and flamebait are you going to post next?

Disqualification by 14th has nothing to do with 5th/6th.

Oh, I see. You have to be indicted and convicted by a jury to removed from the ballot. You convinced me, Bill.

Sheesh. Settle down, Bill. When did I do all of that? All I posted is notice and an opportunity to be heard is what you’re entitled to, and Trump received that.

Progressives always blame republicans for exactly what they, as progressives are doing.
