The international agency facing "revenge" by economic circles in Turkey over PKK reports

Reuters, the renown international news agency, is facing a "ban" by Turkish banks and other financial institutions. Yesterday the institutions said that they will not share commentary with or give statements or interviews to the agency to protest against its refusal to call PKK guerrillas "terrorists".

Reuters has always stated it never uses the word terrorist for any group. The PKK guerrillas are "rebels" for the reporters of the international agency as all the other armed groups.

If this is true, that they're facing a "ban" just over this, then I don't support the decision from the banks and instutions. It's not a correct a correct thing to do. I find their reason of calling them "rebels" instead reasonable. I hope they won't face it.

i know alot of Turks get this wrong , they say Kurdish issue and PKK are 2 different things but unless Ocalan is released and a peace truce is met there will be no stop to PKK fighting and what has the past 30 years of fighting PKK gotten Turkey ??? .

look at the recent agreement between Spain and the ETA group , Spain finally took their demands on board resulting in ETA laying their arms down , and also IRA in UK rings a bell !.
