Both are of the opinion the US should only go to war if necessary.

That alone sets them apart, from pretty much everyone else.

Both were Democrats but have major differences with the present day
Democratic Party of the politics of war and chaos.

So, what do they suggest? Abandon aid to Israel and Ukraine?

'Aid' primarily means weapons shipments and that means money for the 'defense industry'.

As currently constituted the US weapons-run government can not stop shipping weapons,

whether it is 155mm fragmentation shells to Kyiv or whatever Israel needs to kill Palestinians.

It's really too bad that no one had asked the opportunist Gabbard when she was Hawaii's representative and a member of Hawaii's Army National Guard if she would refuse to go to into a war/conflict or regime change she was ordered to do so and disagreed with.
Like put her money where her mouth was.

A RFK Jr-Gabbard ticket would be a nightmare for Trump not Biden.

Biden is a nightmare PERIOD. We don’t need a president who is one step from a memory care unit.

As for RFK, I don’t care him. He’s really a progressive with some libertarian trappings. Gabbard should have stayed in Congress if she really wanted to continue to serve in government.

No matter what you see as Biden's issues he is 1,000 x better than getting the fascist, narcissist, lying ,toxic madman Trump back.
Gabbard would have had to reinvent herself once again to remain in politics and the opportunist wind wasn't blowing .
RFK jr is a one man conspiracy show and an embarrassment to his father/uncle/family and Democrats which is the criteria for getting Trump votes.

The entire Democrat Party of today is an embarrassment to JFK. I think RFK and Gabbard would be infinitely better than either Trump or Biden.

I'm not generally in favor of war, Trump started zero wars and Biden just can't get enough,
so they are opposites, but Trump was unable to get enough good staff whereas
RFKjr knows plenty, so my choice is RFKjr > Trump > Biden.

RFK and Gabbard have 2 chances to be on enough ballots to have any effect on the 2024 elections

    below are the 2 chances

    1. Slim

    2. None

both have proved themselves to be nothing more than attention whores..

gabbard may have had good intentions when entering politics early in her life

RFK may have had good intentions going after the different environment injustices

then when his platform began to shrink he went after the covid vaccine to maintain his platform

politics gave both of them a platform. and they both used it well

but in recent times they have only used their platform to attract attention to themselves

and soon neither will have the platform that they think they deserve

they will go the way of Bill Oriellly and tucker carlson

without the platform they are NOTHING

His emphasis on bringing the two parties together rather than viewing the other side as the enemy.
His focus on environmental issues. Both Biden and Trump suck in this department.
His demanding that vaccines have the same testing requirements as other drugs.
His desire to reduce military spending.
His position on not allowing the Ukraine to join NATO, and to stay out that conflict, and his recognition that the US contributed to the mess that is going on their today.
His position to not increase laws on gun control
His position of restricting the NSA's ability to collect data
His view on abortion is a good compromise: pro choice, but ban after 3 months.

I could go on and on. I like that he has a good blend of left and right priorities, and is not beholden to either side. Here is a link to his views. I don't agree with his stance on Israel, but I wouldn't expect to ever find a candidate I agree on for everything. I see eye to eye with him on enough, at least when compared to the rest, to give him my vote. Unless someone better comes along.

His biggest strength, in my opinion, is his desire to compromise and get the left and right working together again. Both Biden and Trump are god-awful in that department. Neither seems to have any desire to reach across the aisle and offer any sort of compromise.

in another word , RFK lives in alternative world where angels sings and milk and honey flow, every one is satisfied and live happily ever after.

No wonder Latte liberals and some of the Maga support him.

    Back on Earth 1

You can’t bring two party together when one party wants democracy and the other party want authoritarian regime.

When millions people dying each day ( COVID-19) if we wait 5 years testing like other drugs before it goes to market, there won’t be anyone left to take the vaccine.

RFK desire reducing military spending? Off course he does , unlike alternative earth, there are enough people in this world wants to kill each other. We don’t need reducing military spending , we just need to spend wisely.

Why allow Ukraine in NATO, unlike alternative earth, in Earth one Russa has been eying on Ukraine and half of NATO be part of Russa.

If I lived in alternative world, I will like him too.

It doesn’t matter what world it is, RFK will not be POTUS in any world.

If by any chance he get on the ballot , he will get 3%-6% of the vote and will be known as “ the guy who re-elected Trump for the 2nd time” rest of his life.

I don't see much difference in a Biden or Trump presidency. Both will suck, for equally bad reasons. So, I'll take my chances with RFK. I think a lot of others are thinking the same thing. We'll see I guess.

    This I wholeheartedly agree with.

Here, I still think that Trump would be the best choice, but I would put Gabbard above RFK and RFK above the likes of Biden/Newsom and DeSantis/Haley.

I don't like RFK's embracing of the 'climate change' nonsense nor his weakness on protecting gun rights. Since Trump is the one currently being unrighteously targeted from all fronts by the corrupt DNC/RNC machine, Trump is the one who I currently stand beside in support.

I went with Gabbard RFK..... because by putting her first I believe that RFK would take even more votes away from the Democrats which is what I would want to see due to my belief as to what Biden and Trudeau are really up to?!

I agree that the U.S. shouldn’t go to war unless necessary. The ticket sounds good, but it would be an independent ticket which would take a lot of work to get on all 50 states ballots with 50 different laws and requirements to get on each states ballot. The Republicans and Democrats have automatic ballot access. Also to be competitive it would require around a billion dollars raised. In 2020 Biden raised and spent around 1.6 billion, Trump a bit under 1.1 billion. To show the disparity between the two major parties, poor little Jo Jorgensen, the Libertarian candidate was in third place in the money wars with close to just 3 million dollars raised and spent. She was out spent by the two major parties 2.7 billion to 3 million.

    https://www.opensecrets.org/2020-presidential-race

Money will determine if RFK Jr. and Gabbard would be competitive. In fact, 14 billion dollars was spent on the 2020 election. Which leads me to believe no matter who wins, we’ll continue to have the best government money can buy. Both major parties owe their hearts, their souls to corporations, wall street firms, lobbyist, special interests, super, mega, rich INDIVIDUAL money donors. That is where the two major parties get all their billions to run their organizations and campaigns.
