Ric Grenell to Newsmax: 'Infuriating' How Dems, Media Manipulated '20 Election

Democrats, complicit former intelligence analysts and their friends in the media effectively used disinformation to sway the 2020 presidential election in Joe Biden's favor, an "infuriated" former acting Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell alleged on Newsmax.

"It's infuriating to see people manipulate intelligence for political gain and then have all of the newsrooms in Washington, D.C., completely ignore it," Grenell told Friday's "Spicer & Co.," pointing to the Hunter Biden laptop story in October 2020 — mainstream media outlets are beginning to acknowledge the laptop's existence after earlier skepticism about the narrative.

He’s exactly right. NewsMax news reporter writes an excellent article about the news making comments of Ric Grenell. Between the lamestream media and big tech social media combined efforts to muzzle the NYPost stodgy and silence all who repeated it, they played a big role in manipulating the outcome of the 2020 election.

 

Ric Grenell is right. The mainstream media, the big tech social media combined to steal the 2020 election for the democrat party.

 

Another "sore loser" thread about the elections. We went through this between 2016 to 2018 by the Dems and now we are still going through this by the GOP. History repeating itself, and its bad history.

 

In the same way they combined to steal the 2016 election for trump by not reporting on the Steele dossier.

 

From racism, to sexism, to being owned by Putin and xi, to manipulating elections, liberals/democrats are everything they accuse conservatives of.

 

This has nothing to do with the mechanics of the election, computers, mail in ballots, counting methods, and the like. It is about controlling election results by suppressing and withholding information about a major news story breaking days before the election that might well have changed the outcome if widely known. The Bush DUI report let Gore back in the 2000 election race, and this story getting that exposure would have done likewise for Trump.

Before the elections, both were unconfirmed. After the election, the Steele dossier was partly confirmed and partly not. The laptop story remains unconfirmed and also irrelevant. Doesn’t show any wrongdoing by President Biden.

 

The dossier was mostly total BS from the get go and proven BS eventually. The MSM wasn’t cancelling anyone for mentioning it, compared to Hunters laptop for example. Like comparing Apples and Orangutans

The MSM had a truly scary impact on 2020. Between all the lies spread about Covid and totally twisting Trumps words it was a set up from the day Covid hit our shores. Without Covid Trump would have won in a basic landslide with how well the economy was humming along, no wars, low unemployment. Covid was a giant gift for Democrats and they went all in. Oh well. It’s history.

 

Republicans always show how inept they are when a crisis comes along. I always said trump would set back discourse in this nation even further but we wouldn’t see real disaster unless something major happened. Presidents are judged by their response to these issues and trump failed and was booted.

As to no wars, Biden ended the war in Afghanistan — or was that a “special military operation” and not a war?

I always find it funny when one party thinks they are somehow more pure than the other. Democrats and republicans are both bottom feeders, willing to lie/steal/manipulate/kill or whatever else it takes to retain power, regardless on its impact on the rest of the country.

 

I think you need to read the article beyond the first paragraph or two. Grenell said further in the article, "Joe Biden would not have been able to get nearly as many votes as he did, There's no possible way people would have voted for him knowing that he was compromised. I don't think there's any other way to say it, and I don't say that cavalierly. 'I really believe that when you look at these emails, it's clear Hunter Biden is out soliciting international business with really nefarious means." In this statement in the article, Grenell is specifically talking about the 2020 elections if and only if the news was flooded by Hunter Biden, and not anything critical of then President Trump, or his policies, or Trump's statements during his responses with news reporters. It's another should've, would've, could've argument that is becoming increasingly boring.

But then again, let's take the reverse shall we. Do you really think Newsmaxx, Fox News, or OANN will reporting critical of a GOP President when he is in office?

The real problem in the media is not how or what they are reporting, but the audience is basically going to watch only one news source that fits their political ideology. Conservatives today will never watch CNN et al and liberals today will never watch Fox News, et al. That is where the problem is. If Newsmaxx does a report that Joe Biden is a pedophile and is constantly beroded on all conservative media platforms, I can assure you, in this example, 80% or more conservatives would believe the story. And if CNN and all the other liberal media platforms reports a story that Donald Trump committed homicide while in Mar-largo, then 80% of those liberals would believe the story. That's where the problem lays. It's not the story in and of itself, it's the audience sticking to one media platform or platforms that specifically meet their political ideology and that's it.
