Nothing is being suppressed, it is simply unconfirmed and therefore useless to scientific study. The "evidence" of extra terrestrial activity in our past is only found in hypothesis and "Ancient Aliens" re runs on TV. As there is nothing tangible to study the concept cannot move beyond the hypothetical.

 

Those videos of a UFO over the Jerusalem Temple Mount that were shot from several directions would be extremely difficult to fake considering how many languages the people in the background spoke in.

The guy who does part two of the video given in the previous post is correct that religious people all over the world will read significance into those videos.

The temple mount videos are indeed compelling, as I agree they would be difficult to "Create"....though not impossible. If they are genuine however, they do not represent proof of ancient alien visitation and manipulation. As for the opinions presented by Howard Storm...they are personal experience and not pertinent to any discussion of physical reality any more than my abduction by Miniature Aliens that looked like Smurfs back in 1972.

He was asked about "who could've created the heavens and the earth?"...and how started? Dawkins defaults to a non-who of "what was started" as permitted by science. Referring to the first self replicating molecule that could've happen on earth. He is met with "how did that happen?", and responded with "I told you we don't know".

The answer to Dawkins' inference is "YOU don't know how that started...NOR does ANYONE else". This is the philosophy of doubt and correct, to the extreme, that undermines anyone else's philosophy even one's own.

Then Dawkins was asked about "intelligent design". In which he inferred an alien civilization. Where else is there intelligence? It's a perfectly rational intelligence? Where is intelligence, anyone?

I believe so and I think that this is having an effect on how he views the universe and our place in it.

Even Richard Dawkins Ph. D. would enjoy this book! "The Thrice Born" is going to help many agnostics and atheists to begin to take Jewish and Christian scriptures somewhat more seriously. I saw an interview online in which Richard Dawkins Ph. D. refused to rule out the possibility of an alien civilization evolving to a high level of technology thousands or even millions of years in our past. The possibility of alien civilizations playing a role in human evolution or history or even perhaps seeding the earth with life is not something that a truly educated person would casually rule out. This book fits extremely well with "The Book of Enoch" and I will definitely be recommending it to some of my Christian friends who would be interested in considering another view of this intriguing verse from Genesis: "That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose." ...… Due to the storm I got a chance to read this book day before yesterday and I can see myself even recommending this to my daughter in a few months or years?!

I believe that the modern definition of "Atheist" is being somewhat expanded.

Several years ago somebody on one of the Atheist debate forums stated that I personally could be defined as a atheist..... if I wanted to be...… because of my theory that perhaps Super Strings and Super Waves...… over eternity in the past evolved and became intelligent and assisted in organizing Big Bang type events and in the creation / evolution of intelligent life forms.

Personally....... I am convinced that our ancestors were created in order to set in motion a series of events that would lead to the "restoration of all things" that includes the return to light- truth - love - gratefulness....... even by highly advanced alien cultures....... as well as of various species of "angels" who fell.......... AboveAlpha mentions the possibility of life forms that are non-carbon based......… that idea could include angels.

Who is expanding that definition and why?

If it is Christians that are doing it, then I have a huge distrust of that. Most religious people have a lot of prejudice against atheists and therefore can't be objective and unbiased in any way.

But I will also have a skeptical pov if it is atheists doing it to.

As far as the Russian angle on releasing their UFO stuff, I remain skeptical. Because I suspect that it may be some sort of hoax aimed at creating some amount of discord in America.

The impression that I got was that some Atheists are arguing that belief in aliens evolving before we humans did and even playing a role in our evolution or even in our history…………. could still be considered a part of Atheism!
