He was CHOSEN as neighborhood watch captain by his COMMUNITY, all of whom are a part of neighborhood watch.

Don't know what cockamamie bullcrap your trailer park does, but in my area, EVERYONE in involved in the neighborhood watch, with ceratin homes marked as "Safe Havens".

Zimmerman was CHOSEN and APPRECIATED, by his neighbors, in a HIGH CRIME AREA, of a HIGH CRIME CITY.

On a scale of 0-100 , with 100 being an OPTIMUAL AREA TO LIVE IN, as far as crime, SANFORD was rated a "6",and the Twin Lakes area a "4", by several independent realty groups, after paying for and examination/analysis of crime data and police records there.

The state of Florida cites Sanford as having a FAR HIGHER overall,and VIOLENT crime rate, than the state average as well.

My gated community of over 600 units is lovely .. landscaped and well managed for over 25 years.. Since the economy went south we have had some daytime burglaries and we have some cops living on the premises.

We don't have fools like George.

I wonder if Jr. ever told the story about how the neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman had so many complaints filed against him, they had an emergency meeting. One of the blacks said Zimmerman confronted him often for doing nothing and even came to the man's house to harass him. The Sheriff also attended the meeting where people voiced complaints about Zimmerman often confronting blacks for no reason and how he made dozens of false alarm calls to police. One person had to be removed because they got so upset that nothing was being done about Zimmerman's reign of terror. I wonder if Jr. also talked about the woman at work George Zimmerman picked up and body slammed because of an argument. I also wonder if they talk about Zimmerman's mental illnesses and violent behavior. All this is going to be coming out in court along with all the stuff Georgie boy talked about to his friends on his computer. It don't look too good for George.

In the eyes of the racists, Zimmerman can do no wrong even though they clearly hear his racist comments on the phone call. "They always get away." Then the meeting of the Homeowner's Association that the Sheriff attended because of the multiple complaints about Zimmerman's harassing blacks and others. Zimmerman may have helped a black guy ten years earlier but that doesn't mean he isn't racist. But to the poor trashy white racists who need to put some group down because their lives suck, will see Zimmerman as a hero even though he did not prevent a crime and did not follow neighborhood watch guidelines.

I know. I've done some security and neighborhood patrols myself. You see someone that looks suspicious, you call the cops and wait for them to handle it. You don't follow them or confront them which is obviously to me what Zimmerman did. Don't worry, everything from Georges neighbors will come out in the trial.

that she recalls no such support from Zimmerman and never saw him

And several pastors who spoke to theGrio refuted the claim,
made in a letter to Foster from an unnamed member of the Zimmerman
family, saying they never saw him distribute fliers at their churches,
urging people to attend the January 8, 2011 public meeting. Ware was
represented by Natalie Jackson, one of the attorneys now representing
the Martin family. Jackson told theGrio Wednesday that the idea that
Zimmerman supported Ware is false. And in the recording, obtained by
theGrio Thursday, Zimmerman never mentions Ware in his remarks to the
commission.

I guess RJZ can explain it when he's on the witness stand.

 

Have you noticed that it is not the TM supporters that keep on bringing the race issue, but the Zimmerman supporters who keep on "defending" what is NOT an issue?

Race has NEVER been an issue for me. . .and yet, it keeps on being stuck in my face again and again!

The whole "race" slant is immaterial to whether or not Zimmerman is guilty of using unnecessary deadly force against an unarmed teenager.

Please note that this case can be summarized without even mentioning ANYONE's race!

They can not bring themselves to admit Tray was over 6 feet. A report while his body is stiff is proof for them. Now thats sad all on its own, but we also have them reporting he had "tea" on him. If Zimmerman had acted as a neighborhood watch member and follwed the rules, he would have stayed in his truck, instead of pursuing an unarmed "suspicious" kid with his concealed firearm, AGAINST the clear advise of the 911 dispatcher.

By taking those steps, Zimmerman moved from the "neighborhood watch" role to the "vigilante" role. . . With deadly consequence for an innocent teenager.
