Not buying it. Mankind and fellow man are the same thing. I think Prager was trying to be as eloquent as Mark Twain's quote*, but fell well short.

I guess it matters where we focus. Mankind, or even Womenkind, is made up of all of us.

There are lots of good people 'within' mankind.

 

Stop being difficult and parsing words." Mankind " as in humankind or humanity.
Humans as a group.Humans as a group have been the bane of much in society.

This is one area women should feel pride in.Since throughout History it has
been the Man { male in society } who governed and waged war.It is man who
has shed the blood of others and burned villages and cities.
Going back to the archeological fundementals of Man as Hunter and
Woman as Gatherer.
Man { males } seem to have more of an animal/hunter instinct than Woman.
That is why while little Bobby likes to play rough in the dirt and throw stuff around,
little Susie is playing with dolls and preparing to be a homemaker.

 

I saw a sign yesterday that said, "if women ruled the world there would be fewer wars. Just a bunch of countries not speaking to each other."

 

And Oh the likes of those Curtains & Shoes { 2 of womankinds favorite items }.

 

Who is the one parsing mankind and fellow man? Not me.

 

Looking back in hindsight at the many and varied roles of Robin Williams,
I doubt one could site many where he demonstrated such a cocksure juvenile
attitude to defend his character or role.
