Its clear to me that the brewing financial world crisis will lead to more centralized control. After all, change is painful, so the best way to get people to change is when they are already in pain. These painful economic crisis are then catalysts for that change. Of course, the question will always be, was it a natural process or manufactured? I suppose if I say manufactured I'm a loon but if I say natural I'm just a partial loon.

The problem is that I was so into it I would research for hours at a time and the overwhelming evidence was that I had no idea what I was talking about. Coming to that conclusion after years of being so wrong was refreshing and freeing.

Realizing I spent that much time being dumb was embarrassing though but I am better for it.

I would also like to note that when one is recommended to become a KCCH or a 33° that it is done publicly from what I understand as the wives attend the ceremony as well as many attend the Honors. I was invited to go to the Scottish Rite Honors Weekend in Utah, but could not go because of the York Rite Festival, and I was conferring a couple of the degrees.
