There was no press release on any of this, so I just decided to put all of the information I could find in a similar form:

In his bid to defeat Donald Trump in the Republican Primary, contender Rocky De La Fuente has crossed one of the first hurdles by qualifying for the Vermont GOP Presidential primary. As it stands only Rocky De La Fuente and Donald Trump have qualified for the March 3rd ballot. With five million dollars, currently Rocky De La Fuente has more cash on hand than any of Trump’s other primary rivals.

Like Trump, Rocky De La Fuente is a businessman. His family made millions of dollars on real-estate holdings and selling cars. He was born in Mercy Hospital in San Diego California. During his childhood, he was raised in both Mexico and California. During his school years, he spent time at a number of Catholic schools, and Saint Catherine’s Military Academy in Anaheim, California. He earned a BS in Physics and Mathematics from the Instituto Paria National Autonomous University of Mexico, and studied business administration at Anahauc University near Mexico City.

When asked about his campaign, he replied “I intend to beat Trump”.

This is not Rocky de la Fuente’s first foray in politics. In 2016, Rocky De La Fuente ran in the Democratic Primary against Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders before becoming the Reform Party candidate for President during the General Election. He also built name recognition by running in a number of Senate Primaries in 2018 in preparation for his run against Donald Trump.

I doubt he will split off the more hard right Trump supporters and may well siphon off some of the Latino supporters who would otherwise vote democrat

Mind you if he gets a steam head going on his campaign and does get recognised as a threat by Trump, how long after would trump demand a birth certificate

Interesting. Never heard of the guy. I agree with him on a lot of stuff... but also strongly disagree on a few things.

The guns and rape issues here are a no-go for me.

I wish him luck, I like to see business people in the White House.

He will not even get on enough ballets to try. Kansas for instance is not having a primary.
