Romney definitely showing off is comedic side. Granted he roasted Obama much more than tradition allows for. But some of these jokes were priceless. The opening line about Biden? Ouch!

Romney Addresses 67th Annual Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner

Romney: I was hoping that President Obama would bring Joe Biden along, because he'll laugh at anything.

Romney: We were chatting pleasantly this evening as if Tuesday didn't happen.

Romney: Usually when I get invited to gatherings like this, it's just to be the designated driver.

Romney: We're down to the final months of the president's term.

Romney: I have my beautiful wife Ann, he has Bill Clinton.

Romney, referring to St. Peter, says skeptics will say "if you've got a Church, you didn't build that."

Romney says Obama's new campaign slogan is "you're better off than you were four weeks ago."

Romney: The president's remarks tonight are brought to you by the letter O and the number 16 trillion.

Romney says headlines will say "polls show Obama leading from behind."

Well, I suppose he figured if Obama can't follow rules at the debates, why not take some liberties here.

I thought it interesting that most of Romney's jokes were making fun of other people, mostly Obama.

Most of Obama's were making fun of himself.

It says something about the two men.

Yes, it says they can read. I saw your name on this thread and just had to see what ignorant partisan comment you were going to make, and I was right, it was partisan and ignorant.

Romney said all those rip-roaring, off-the-chart hilarious things at a dinner for Catholic charities. Too bad the Catholics are supporting the other fella, eh? And, fact of the matter is, Tuesday DID happen - and Romney lost.

Why do you claim it was ignorant? Are you speaking from ignorance once again?

You must've found the one poll that showed a Romney win in that debate. You know and I know that he got thumped. We call it cherry-picking in my business.

The only thing he will win is a U-Haul contract to go back to Chicago.

Romney has been receiving a 2nd debate bounce now... and you want to claim Obama won as Romney gets an even larger lead? The only hope now for the Liberals is an electoral college win.

True, I doubt those two would get together for dinner for anything less.

It is ignorant because you don't find humor in either of them celebrating a good cause by roasting each other. As I said in a previous thread, Obama is usually very good at delivery and timing, and last night it was like he didn't want to be there. Romney's writers were better, what else can be said?

It is obvious that both Romney and Obama see Obama as a joke.
