Ron DeSantis on Ukraine

It's a move by DeSantis so he can run for 2024. The statement is closer to Trump, but I imagine he will have some minor differences. No one is going to get hysterically crazy. The MAGA supporters will be more inclined to have DeSantis run against trump.

 

You mean on some former aid who desantis will deny ever worked for the campaign? And why would that happen? Is russia going to help him, with his encouragement?

 

Why indeed? Russia collusion was pretty helpful the last time around. Sure it fell apart after a few years but it served it's purpose so why not roll it out again?

Is it beneficial to Putin that US will have a candidate who is already saying helping Ukraine is not priority? Hell yes. Such candidate is like God sent for him.

I am contributing and its nice you say its great. Maybe you'll join me in contributing. This is the only thread about DeSantis, and his views which help Putin, and not just a little, but A LOT. Its obvious Putin will help the candidate who helps him. I don't know how much Putin can do to help DeSantis, but at the very least they will launch propaganda campaign in social media to promote DeSantis and tear down his opponent (whoever that might be). If you don't agree, then why not just say so and explain why.

He dropped 41 points in the polls in some States, and 12 even in his home State (Florida), so its not just them, but voters too, and that was before he made this comment about Ukraine not being a priority.

 

The named individuals represent large parts of the Republican party.

I guess I don't know who "everyone" is, but if you've been following the topic at all on this forum I've made clear that it was nonsense then, nonsense now, and the new version going after DeSantis will be nonsense.

Not clear at all, because you didn't even try to answer the 'why'. Can you offer some points on why Russia would NOT try to help the candidate which benefits them the most? Any ideas other than "I don't agree"?
