    This is a good video. It clears up some of the common misconceptions about Ron Paul.

    I knew that CBS screwed RP on time in the last debate, but didn't realize how much time they gave to Santorum. Santorum? You gotta be kidding!

    The polls are showing that people are getting the message in spite of the media bias. Bloomberg has RP a solid second place in New Hampshire.

    The 'forum' Saturday will be a good opportunity for RP.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Six GOP candidates will be participating in a forum focused on social issues hosted by The Family Leader this afternoon at 5pm ET. The event takes place at the First Federated Church in Des Moines, Iowa. There will be no television broadcast since C-SPAN reversed its decision to broadcast the event citing budgetry reasons. Mitt Romney and Jon Huntsman were also invited, however, both declined the invitation.
    Live Stream: CitizenLink.com (Around 5pm ET)
    Audio Stream: Bott Radio Network (Around 4:30pm ET)
    Participants: Bachmann, Cain, Gingrich, Paul, Perry, Santorum
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Pleasant Hill, IOWA. – The FAMiLY LEADER, in conjunction with CitizenLink (the family advocacy arm of Focus on the Family) and the National Organization for Marriage, is pleased to announce that political pollster, Dr. Frank Luntz, will moderate the “Thanksgiving Family Forum – A Family Discussion with the Republican Candidates” on Saturday, Nov. 19. The forum will take place in Des Moines, Iowa at First Federated Church from 5:00-7:00 p.m ET.

    The FAMiLY LEADER has received event confirmations from Michele Bachmann, Herman Cain, Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul, Rick Perry, and Rick Santorum. Invitations were sent to those candidates who finished in the top 5 of The Iowa Straw Poll or who polled 5 percent or above in the RealClearPolitics Poll as of Aug. 28.

    The forum’s goal is to allow Iowans an opportunity to further vet the candidates on matters related to the family. “This is not a debate,” said Bob Vander Plaats, President and CEO of The FAMiLY LEADER. “Our purpose is simply to learn about their worldviews and to listen to their hearts on key family issues. The discussion will allow us to see a more personal side of the candidates.”

    “We are thrilled that Frank Luntz has agreed to team up with us for the forum,” said Vander Plaats. “We believe his unique style, audience participation, and expertise in communication will drive the discussion in a direction unlike any other forum or debate.”

    Ron Paul is perfect for the job of president. Except for some of those radical views and he is too old.

    Too old? the dude could easily live another 20 years. he's clearly got more marbles than all the other GOP candidates combined. What exactly is it that makes him "too old" for the job?

    And what radical views? Supporting the Constitution? Yeah you're right, we can't have a President in office that ACTUALLY supports the Constitution. pfft, that's just too (*)(*)(*)(*)ed radical

    Hey, If the GOP doesnt nominate him, then we will have 4 more years of Obama. I guarentee you, Ron Pauls supporters only vote for Ron Paul. That means that the GOP is automatically losing almost a 1/4 of the vote. Obama pitted against Ron Paul is within 4%... You do the math...

    Speaking for myself, I can tell you that I will write in Ron Paul on my ballot next November if he's not the nominee. I get the feeling I'm not alone in this.

    Me too.

    Theres hope though. I've heard of a Paul / Ventura Lib Party ticket. That would shake the establishment to the core. Imagine a three way race, with Ron Paul, And Jesse Ventura Slaughtering Obama, and the GOP. Very exciting.

    Seriously? I like Jesse and what he says, but he might be too polarizing and could cost RP votes. I was thinking maybe Gary Johnson. I heard he got into the race with RP's encouragement.

    Jesse? I don't know. Then again, maybe people are ready for the truth. It would be exciting, that's for sure. Nothing like opening up a big ole can of whoop-ass on the RINOs, Neo-Cons and Liberals!

    BRING IT ON!! :mrgreen:

    Lol. If you listen to Alex Jones radio show, Jesse made an open invitation to the Libertarian Party stating: "Come and get me". He did this twice that i know of. Also, the Lib Party has stated that they have been raising funds to imediately support a Dr. Paul campaign, should the need arise. Of course, Dr. Paul has declined to comment on a 3rd party run...

    You are so right though. Jesse Ventura would lay waste to the establishment. Add Ron Paul, and you have a very lethal combo... I have heard of Johnson running on a GOP ticket, not a Lib ticket...

    One of the knocks people use on Paul is his age. Picking Ventura would be like picking Palin. Not a good idea.

    The media would have a field day.

    Gary Johnson as a VP however.....

    Who cares about the Media... Ron Paul is doing great without it.
    And the media having a field day would only provide exposure...

    You gotta admit that Paul / Ventura would be killer....
    The establishment will crumble. We dont need the Media, all we need is what we already have...

    I think Jesse Ventura got it exactly right when he compared the 2 political parties to the heel/babyface matchups in wrestling. They pretend to hate each other to get the crowd riled up, then go have a beer together after. It's just a show and the outcome is pre-determined.

    I listened to the Family Forum today and think Paul did very well.

    I would like to see Paul debate Gingrich. They are both very intelligent, but I believe Paul would do well against Gingrich.

    I watched it Saturday. At times it seemed more like an episode of Oprah or Dr. Phil LOL. But Dr. Paul did well and I was happy to see he didn't pander like some of the others did but was still well received.

    This is about as stupid as watchin some cajun hunt alligators.
    Paul is not a leader.He's been in Congress how long,and what
    has he lead.Nothing.Not as much as a Girl Scout cookie drive.
    Michele Bachmann is a Leader as is Rick Santorum.They have
    demonstrated Leaderdhip as Pols.Same with those Governors,Romney,
    Perry and Hunstman.Cain was a business leader.Newt is the perfect
    leader.
    Tell us all what Ron Paul has led.I agree with Pauls cuts to Government.
    But we're talkin President.A Presidents Job is to lead.What qualifies Paul
    as a Leader.

    Santorum is a creepy little weasel. Bachman is too far right. These two who you call leaders are leading themselves far away from the GOP nomination. They have very little support amongst Conservatives even.

    One thing Ron Paul will not lead the nation into is another pointless war which kills more than 100k and contributes to a massive portion of the debt.

    So are you saying that it is more important that someone was a 'leader' then what their ideas are and what they stand for?

    Genghis Khan was a great leader who unified the Mongol Tribes and then paved his own Empire across the Old World. Would you follow him even if you knew his ideology and methods consisted of butchering people? You don't choose your Leaders by their will but that of their actions and thoughts.
