It's a pretty good speech. Not the best I've ever seen, but decent.

    Highlighting Hillary's evilness is fun.

He went full on populism nationalist. Not a huge fan of some of it, but his message will be hard to hit with the race card.

MSNBC is trying to portray the speech as dark and sinister.

Thats to be expected-and by the same (lefty) logic, Hillary is warm and cuddly.

Agreed, I've heard both speak, and its no contest.

What did Pence say yesterday? "You can't fake good kids"...

Trump did good with all of his kids.

And this was her only a few months ago...

:roflol: Are you serious? It was fourth grade. I'm not a Republican and I was embarrassed for the country. That's how bad it was. There was no substance and no details. It was absolutely horrible.

Not at first. Prior to the talking points being delivered msnbc commentary was positive, I was amazed. Fox and Britt Hume was depressing and CNN with Axelrod was pushing the "dark" meme right out of the gate.

    Interesting.

Trump hit a grand slam. He will win in a landslide as long as he stays on message. Everything he said applies to the average American.

Oh he got the ball out there, maybe a runner or two crossed home plate, but let's see how it resonates.

I though his delivery was spot on and necessary. It displayed a capability in Trump that might suggest that his rally persona is a affect of creating enthusiasm, a performance. Tonight's speech was a performance as well but it squared off the edges.

I think Micheal Moore is correct, Trump can capture enough votes from the American electorate to win.

I dunno. Chris Matthews is really crushing or lusting after Ivanka. I am sure if she went on his show, Matthews would be Trump's #1 supporter.

One thing I can't wait for next week is we will start getting in to the real issue hurting America. The worst Congress in the history of America. Lead by obstructionist, treasonous Republicans who waste far more time with silly scandals than actually passing anything to help jobs, infrastructure, health care, vets, etc, etc. They are the most pathetic group of individuals I have ever seen. What does that say about the people who vote them in?
