Putin has a face for just about every situation ready and waiting....EXCEPT....the other day when Putin acted very UNPUTIN LIKE in public after Russia lost to the U.S. Olympic Hockey Team.

I and a few of my associates got a REAL GOOD LAUGH out of watching Putin who had been acting extraordinarily magnanimous and I dare to say the word...FRIENDLY....as such a word RARELY can be used with the name Putin....but everything Putin had so painstakingly been doing and acting over several months prior to and during the Olympic games CAME TO A CRASHING HALT right after Russia lost to the U.S. Olympic Hockey Team! LOL!!!

The CBC....The Canadian Broadcasting Company did an extraordinarily good and thorough job explaining, detailing and capturing Putin and the reasoning behind the Russian Loss as well as how due to POOR MATERIALS AND CHEAP COST CUTTING DESIGNS of Hockey Goal Nets spacing and GIVE materials that allow the net to become separated from the ice as this must happen because if they did not Hockey Players impacting a Net that would be anchored permanently to the ice could result in extreme injury and even DEATH to a Hockey Player impacting with it.

During the game which ended up being tied and was finally won by the U.S. after the 8th round of 1 on 1 shoot outs and after a full house mainly of Russian's and a few American's left and Putin left and was caught on Tape stone faced in ANGER and basically talking with SOUR GRAPES and even making an implication that the U.S. Cheated....which the Canadian Broadcasting Company fully detailed in replay was the U.S. Goalie moving to stop a puck and in doing so BECAUSE OF CHEAP SUBSTANDARD THIN MATERIALS MADE BY RUSSIA.....the Net was dislodged and a Russian Goal disavowed.

The REAL PUTIN....showed up after the loss and the News Media of the WORLD is having a FIELD DAY with his ANGRY REACTION with some Headlines even running such questions as....IS THE REFEREE THAT WAVED OFF THE RUSSIAN GOAL STILL ALIVE?

Or...because both Regulation Time Goals scored by the U.S. were scored during POWER PLAYS as a specific...I will not be so mean as to name him....Russian Hockey Player made two very stupid penalties and was sent to the Penalty Box.....TWICE....and when this happens a Hockey Team will play with one less man for a certain amount of time depending upon what kind of penalty the player made until that Penalty Time Ends or a GOAL IS SCORED.

Both the Russian Hockey Coach and Putin have PUBLICLY STATED this poor SOB Russian Hockey player should be punished with the Russian Coach replying after a member of the Media asked him if SO AND SO.....should be SCRATCHED for the next game....scratched means not allowed to play.....the Russian Hockey Coach said..."SCRATCHED?" "Probably.....and a A WHOLE LOT MORE THAN THAT!!"

Putin after learning of what the Russian Hockey Coach said later added..."Our Couch should have him FLOGGED!"

This was said by Putin in front of several members of the Russian Sports Media and one member of the Media from a former Soviet State.....and it was reported Putin said this only for all to RETRACT THEIR STORIES SHORTLY AFTER!!!

Yeah...PUTIN.....NOT a nice guy.

The thing is....I am actually worried for that Russian Hockey Player.

Back to the thread. Do I think Russia is planning WW3 well no more than the US or China in the sense all large nations practice such scenarios with their military and security systems.

Wars today are fought using cyber technology and manpulation of economic markets or proxy wars in controlled conflict zones.

I think a larger threat than Putin is a roque nation like North Korea or Iran getting a naval vessel in close enough to the US pacific coast to launch a conventional nuclear war head that does not need to be more than the size of the hiroshima bomb to explode in the atmosphere to then send out electro-magnetic or static discharge to shut down the entire grid and cause panic.

Right now any lunatic can take a rifle and if they know what they are doing shoot out huge portions of the electric grid. One lunatic with germs or a dirty bomb could trigger a catastrophe.


I do criticize Putin's policies. I think for someone as powerful as him to have to jail a bunch of girl singers is embarassing let alone make the comments he does about gays. For such a tough guy he has no problem attacking girls and gays. Sorry that to me is cowardly.

I do think the on-going oppression of the Ukraine is a classic case of Putin using a puppet to crush the free will of a people and drag their state backwords into a Russian puppet state.

So if I were countries like Poland, Hungary the Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Romania, Bulgaria, Belyorussia, Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania or Georgia you bet I would be concerned.

Where is the UN as the Ukraine implodes and Putin's puppet crushes his own people?.

As usual it sits doing nothing as the democratic will of the people is brutally crushed and please don't tell me Putin has nothing to do with trying to take back the Ukraine as a puppet state.
