Expected paranoia in the Western media. Russian pilot congratulated American counterparts with their national holiday. What is the problem?
Russian people are very polite. And very kindly.
You should also consider the fact that the aircraft flew about Alaska and California. But it is almost a part of Russia. But the Western media immediately invented the "Russian threat." This was stated by US General crazy.
It shows an aggressive nature of Western civilization.

What do you think about this?

I think it is Russia flying within 40 miles of our coast in a nuclear capeable bomber, that shows the aggressive nature of Russia.

For sure it does. Given the US/NATO aggression towards Russia and destabilization of nuclear détente over the last decade, what else should we expect ?

Looks like a desperate cry for attention to me.

I get the impression that Vlad the Invader's mommy didn't give him enough attention when he was a kid...:(

There has been no US/NATO aggression towards Russia and has only been Russian aggression against neighboring countries whose land Russia annexes.

So what? Who cares? It's not like we didn't track them from takeoff anyway.
Chances are high with Soviet technology they were just yelling out the windows for directions back towards home. I just hope someone in California knew which direction to point.

Did they make it back home or should we send out the Skipper and Gilligan for a rescue?

It think it showed poor hospitality by the American fighter pilots when they didn't return the gesture with a "gift" of a sidewinder air-to-air missile for the russians to take to the bottom of the ocean with them.

So OP, what do YOU think of that? :machinegun:

Who said there is a problem?

Apparently not. This is from your link:

So two F-15s try to say hi and Russian's respond with a warning? How rude.

I will post this link the next time you accuse the US of instigating a problem with Russia. There was no real risk to us...they are not stealthy and were detected and intercepted before they would have been capable of doing damage.

I think you mean "flew about the ocean".

I think it's more pointless posturing by Russia. Are you expecting us to believe Russia will commit suicide just to attack us?

C'mon guys lighten up. It was the 4th, a time for celebration. Yes, we had to send up a fighter to push them offshore for their own safety. It was an act of brotherly love and friendship I tell ya. Wouldn't want some child's errant bottle rocket to turn those soviet rust buckets into a ball of flame. Not on the 4th, c'mon.

You are wrong. Russian special flew for congratulations to American pilots with their national holiday.
(For example, I also congratulated the July 4 in this forum American citizens with "Independence Day.")

Well, now no one has to wonder how Putin stays in power considering the immense gullibility and malleability of his supporters. How do you suppose the dictator would have received American fighter planes if the shoe was on the other foot?

I guess more countries celebrate July 4th than we realized.

Crazy American general. And the Western media.

Western media quoted a crazy American general.

That's what I'm writing. Even you know it.

I do not speak English. Therefore, I am writing errors. But you understood correctly. Russian was in international waters. Russian does not violate other nations boundaries. Russian people are very kind. And the reaction of aggressive US military - inadequate.

The Russian TU-95 bombers is probably the loudest aircraft to ever fly.

Scuttlebutt is that the Tu-95 Bears are so loud that the U.S. Navy is able to track them with the SOSUS underwater sonar array. :roflol:

Do you really think Americans are that gullible? LOL

It's also very ironic that Putin pretends to celebrate the independence of one country from another.

And once again, why have other nations seen a spike in Russian planes in their airspace?

This proves unwarranted aggression of the US military.

This proves paranoia among Western politicians and Western media.
