The whole world knows how undeveloped Russia is , but Anatol comes up with some rubbish graphs to convince himself of the opposite .
Let's remind ourselves of the facts --- in the nineties Russia wasn't just bankrupt . Coal miners were eating coal to stay alive and organised crime was the leading industry under an alcoholic President, himself a Mafia Family chief .
A ten year old kid would have got the results Putin got got , with the one proviso that they could have had their own FSB to move into Government and then slowly smash the Mafia , culminating in the show down in Moscow when Putin ( rightly) finally got rid of Luzkhov .
Never forget that a 100% increase over " nothing" is still basically zilch .The economy only grew because of Gas and Oil .And you can't even produce that without Western technology and retrieval expertise .
How many marks out of ten , Anatol ?
    None

You are absolutely right, only very dumb people can still believe that Putin wishes a good future for Russians.

Ostap seems like a shill who would prefer Russia revert to the 90s and be leaded by someone whose mentally inept, resources and money pillaged, and have vast quantities of toxic debt. Oh, hmm, that sounds familiar.

You are right . It is very familiar .
It is the precise description of Putin and his Mafia Cronies at Gazprom HQ -- the Kremlin /Duma has been reserved for the foot soldiers for a long time .

Unwittingly , your Post was one of the funniest for a long time .

Really? Yet the Oligarch by the name of Berezovsky (One of the many I'm sure now that reside in the UK) who embezzled hundreds of millions is free to do whatever he likes in the UK. Oh, I get it, you would prefer Russia's natural resources not to be nationally held, by privately. I see. Or you'd prefer Russia to be in a similar situation with many EU nations and the US debt wise.

You can make these arguments all they long about corruption, but you are incredibly delusional by ignoring the very same statements at your own door step. Isn't it funny that David Cameron is asking for a softening of regulation on Britain’s financial sector? You know, the very banks that put the UK and helped destabilize the global financial system?

How can some nations, US and the UK go on a war mongering spree, yet have the effective backing of their people? I simply don't get it.
