Oh please. If your standard of morality and truth was "the law" then we wouldn't be talking about RvW anymore. It was called settled law. But sure, violence against judges and cheating to get extra judges are both wrong. To compete, democrats will need to obstruct everything republicans do whenever republicans have power. The problem, though, is that republicans say government doesn't work and then go break the government to prove it. So it works better for them. They will also need to lie and make different rules for themselves and their opponents just like McConnel has done. Republicans have succeeded in bending the rules in their favor, and democrats just seem to lack the guts or depravity to do things to counter republicans like pack the court and eliminate the filibuster.

So when Garland is nominated like 9 months before the election and they refuse to give him a hearing because it’s too close to the election. And then Trump’s last Justice was a couple months before the next election, they do not apply the same standard, it’s clearly applying different rules to the candidates by who nominated them. In any game we call such tactics cheating - not playing by the same rules. As I said republicans feel freer to cheat since they always assert government doesn’t work anyway so they have less to lose if the other side balks
