Talk about say anything to get votes..play ONLY to one segment of the American voting base.

I will not vote for a Santorum /newt 2012 ticket.

    http://www.newsmax.com/Politics/santorum-gingrich-runningmate-alabama/2012/03/08/id/431942

Saying he'd look for a "strong and principled conservative" as a running mate should he win the Republican presidential nomination, former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum tells Newsmax that he certainly would consider rival Newt Gingrich for that vital role.

When asked if he would consider the former House Speaker as number two on his ticket, Santorum said Gingrich had been "tested" by the bruising GOP race and that makes him an attractive vice presidential candidate.
    END..

So just like survivor Island ..2 losers want to throw the strongest off ?
    This aint make believe..

Betcha Romney is miffed because he didn't get first in line on this idea.
Its just more of the same old.
During the primaries, they go at each other like the hyenas, just to praise the, before declared no good, candidate during the general.

Well of course. You'll vote for Obama who will trample all over the thing you Paulbots love most.

The more and more this race goes on the more Ron Paul and his base become irrelevant because he isn't winning anything. I would love to see a Santorum/Newt ticket and I would not reach out one bit to the Paulbots.

It would the same thing as putting lipstick on a pig and putting it on display at a fashion show. It only helps the Democrats out.

He hates him in one breath and loves him when it looks like he needs his help. I hope Newt thumbs his nose at him and say "sonny boy, get to the rear; you can be the VP, not me".

As an analyist you need to exmine how the end game will soon focus on women and the issues before the conservative base.

Santorum has the spot light which will allow him to appeal to the married women who now are equal in number to the welfare Single Mothers that are demovratic hopelessly lost to the republican party anyway.

The single mothers must be exposed as the basis for all our social problems, which include:

    1) Violent Crime

    2) Welfare (now equal to the Miltary Budget)

    3) High School drop outs, (now 45% nation wide)

    4) Low educational standards (below average test scores nationally)

    5) Abortions (consistently at 1.2 million annually in spite of 40 years of Sex Education)

    6) Illegitimacy (now 50% of all births)

    7) Divorce (55%)

Seems Newt isn't gonna take him up on it, is thinking about approaching Perry as VP instead.
