I kept thinking how can a politician be tricked into doing something this stupid???

Do you guys think pranks like this are fair? What about the non public officials like the bachelorette star or the public town hall meeting in Arizona trying to expose regular citizens as racist or anti Muslim.

I did not care for his antics before when he fooled numbskuls into believing that Kazakhstan was in Eastern Europe. The weird thing is the whole premise of Candid Camera was the camera was hidden and the person did not realize they were being recorded. These people all know the cameras are there and rolling.

To the actual topic, if Cohen unearths wrongdoing or hypocrisy in government with his deceptions, more power to him. If he violates PC norms while doing so, then he can suffer the consequences just like any other PC victim has to today.

 

What you are failing to take into consideration is the reasonable man concept. I would use that from common law in defense of Sasha Cohen. A reasonable man should be able to figure out that dropping your pants and mooning Islamic Terrorists is not a reasonable defense agsinst terrorism. Best said as would a reasonable man expect that mooning terrorists is a deterrent?

 

I have yet to see any government training film ( I have seen plenty in my time) that suggests we drop trough and moon the enemy as a defensive tactic.
