No ZC, the spinning was begun on that Thursday evening 5 years ago, when the western media started covering this staged event.

They provided no proof of their allegations that evening, but a ton of statements from "anonymous sources" inside the Pentagon.

And poor old BBC showing all that material, not realizing it was a staged event. Ukrainian peasant women describing the climbing fighters that the Russians saw on their radar. And poor old Carlos, the Spanish man working for Kiev ATC, who tweeted about those climbing military fighters, and whose account was quickly terminated and who we never heard from again. People who spill the beans are often terminated from life.

The truth is that conspiracy theories are as common amongst the population as elbows and belly-buttons--yes, everybody has one. As deHaven-Smith points out, this country was born in conspiracy. The colonists conspired to get the Crown out of the colonies.

As for me, I was a 21 year old Lieutenant in the US Army when I became aware that Air America and CIA were in the drug business in Southeast Asia. So seeing the Agency as a force for good is impossible for me. I've read Alfred McCoy and much more about that agency. To believe that Carriles and the rest were not working for the CIA is most naïve. To think that we are not trying to oust yet another legitimate government in Venezuela is also most naïve.

As Casey noted in 1981, when everything the American people believe is false, we will know the success of our misinformation efforts.

The MH17 incident was staged, and meant only to justify sanctions against Russia. Not one single allegation made by the west has been proved, even while Russia provided radar records and more within days of the event.

I have no particular opinion as to which type aircraft fired the cannon, but there is no question that cannon fire, and likely 1 AAM, were used against MH17.

Elbit Systems of Israel modifies many older aircraft, including SU 25. https://elbitsystems.com/su-25-solutions/

Larger engines, better systems, light fuel load, the airplane will get up there. The peasants saw and heard them, the Russians tracked them.

Once again, your government lied to you.

Government of Ukraine would rework SU-25 while it already has aircraft suitable for air to air combat? For what? It’s nice that you dropped that link, but can you prove Ukraine got its SU-25 retrofitted for air to air combat? And why would someone do that?
And you are willing to believe that and the Russians and then claim my government lied to me? Do you take off your tinfoil hat when you go to bed?

When I was a child I watched cowboy movies -- this was the 1950s, before the sophistication of TV began.

The Good Guys were white, and wore white. Their clothes were perfectly pressed and they were always clean shaven. They never swore. When they had to use their handgun, they usually just shot the Bad Guy's weapon out of his hand.

The Bad Guys were usually white, although evil-looking Hispanics sometimes got a supporting role. Their clothes were black, and rumpled. They were unshaven.

I assumed, and was greatly aided in my assumption by everything we were taught in school, that in world affairs, the US was the virtuous shining Good Guy, and its enemies at any given time were Bad Guys. This wasn't a difficult thing to teach, given the nature of the Bad Guys we had just defeated a few years before, and the ones we were contending with at the time.

When I became a teenager, I started to read things that seemed to contradict the role of the US as the perfect, diamond-like pure Good Guy, especially with respect to Latin America.

I went through some political evolutions over the decades that followed, but I now have what I hope is a more sophisticated understanding of people, and of people aggregated into parties and nations.

My updated understanding: there are occasionally pretty pure Bad Guys. ISIS comes to mind. But there are never pure Good Guys. Everything has to be seen in context, and usually you have to make a choice of lesser evils.

World War II is a good example. I won't go into Allied -- and especially American -- crimes in World War II, and there certainly were some, but there is no doubt in my mind who any decent person wanted to win in that war. This is independent of motivation. (A fireman who rushes into a burning building to save someone may be heavily motivated by the desire to impress a pretty girl with his courage ... I will still honor him.)

So a question to you: with respect to World War II, would you have supported the Allies -- in particular, the US? Would you have seen it, and its secret intelligence agencies, as a force for good? This, despite the crimes, despite possible self-interested motivations?

Pfffft....LOL....yeah OK, some poor Ukrainian peasant babushkas with questionable vision claim to have seen fighter jets 30K feet or whatever in the sky!!! That's really reliable.

Sorry mac, this argument of yours doesn't hold water.

Fact is...the BUK was brought in from Moscolia, by its Russki personnel and was used to shoot down MH17.

These so called "rebels".....assorted riff Raff probably couldn't find snow in the middle of winter:))).

Really? Is that why Russia cleaned up the crime scene and refused to co-operate
with Western investigators? Pity, could have been sorted out long ago.
And beside, only Russian "volunteers" are in Ukraine, along with volunteer tanks
    and volunteer missiles.

These so-called facts of yours could be easily proven if then Secretary of State John Kerry....who said the U.S. had satellite data showing the place, trajectory and timing of the missile launch...would just produce the bullshit he spread. Case closed....ooooops, I guess if that data did exist it didn't fit the narrative. See it straight from the horse's mouth at 2:15 in the video. It's RT video so I assume you will say it's a fake John Kerry :roflol:. That coupled with the fact that all Ukraine radars were 'turned off' during that time tells me there's more to the story than what the MSM Fake News has said. If it was a Buk, Kiev...excuse me now it's Kyiv...had them so that doesn't say a lot. Ukraine and U.S. have no radar or satellite data? Yeah, right. Who's gonna buy that crap?

Nice dodge. RT video has John Kerry running his piehole and yet the evidence is suppressed because it doesn't fit the West's narrative. Come on down to Texas and you can see what I stand beside. Keep posting...I need a good laugh.

    This claim is just dumb!

SU25 has top speed of 975kmh.
B777 was moving with the speed of 915kmh.
    SU-25 max ceiling is 7km.
    B777 was at 10km.

B777 has the damage in the nose section. Which means that somehow that SU-25 would need to catch up to B777 with relative speed advantage of just 60kmh (and even that is generous considering the plane must have carried ammunition), run in front of B777 and somehow shoot in the planes front section from 3km lower altitude.

Do you, russian trolls, realize how incredibly stupid your claims are????? Russians picked the worst plane to accuse of shooting down MH17. Even if the pilot wanted to shoot it down he would spend hours just catching up to the B777 and that’s considering the fact that this aircraft has a range of 1000 km, so in an hour the chase would have to be called off. You already claimed that there was no plane approaching from the east, meaning SU-25 must have caught up with the Boeing from behind. And that’s with empty top speed of 975kmh. How the hell would that SU-25 catch up if it had ammunition onboard?

You people really do live outside of our universe where normal laws of physics work.

PS - this claim becomes even dumber when one realizes that Ukraine has dozens of multirole and attack aircraft. Yeah, they’d send ground support aircraft to shoot down an airliner. Very smart!

No dodging....check out my thread about the DPR militant driver of the BUK.....and I verified it with my contact in Kharkiv.....it was a great op, deep into DPR 80 km...Vladimir Tsemahk is the scumbag they picked up.

I'm sure he's singing sweet tunes....after missing an ear and a finger to start with , from an angle grinder. They went easy at first.

You can stick your RT video where the sun don't shine....LOL.

Yeah actually I will be in the DFW area in late Sept briefly.....so if you have any "cojones"....that is.

Better yet send me that pic of you and your Mercedes near the Kremlin ....Vasiliy?

Hello Hello, McFly. It's John Kerry on the video claiming the U.S. has all the satellite data proving everything.....where the missile was launched from, what time it was launched, and the trajectory. SO WHERE THE HELL IS IT AT??

HELLO HELLO, I LIVE IN TEXAS. I HAVEN'T SAID SQUAT ABOUT A SU-25. I KNOW YOU'RE UKRAINIAN SO YOUR BIASE HAS BLURRED YOUR VISION. LOOK AGAIN.

Can you or your government or your media prove any of their claims regarding that event? No, you cannot, and they have not even tried.

It's a sad state of affairs, but in the last 10 years or so the Kremlin has been much easier to believe than federal media.

Yes, I would have supported our efforts in WWII. My father served as a physician in the US Army in New Guinea.

One of the main reasons I support those efforts is because the constitutional requirement for declaration of war was met.

All the other bullshit wars since were NOT declared in accordance with the Law of the Land. The AUMF is pure legal sophistry, yet it stands today. Partly because of that sophistry, the US soldier today is seen by many countries as being the enemy, just as we were in Southeast Asia when I was there. We are the round-eye foreign invaders, agents of death and destruction.

Sorry pal, you deliver old and useless propaganda, as is your style, though usually it is new material. This 5 year old Pentagon propaganda is out of date. The only reason you and Bellingcat bring it back is because this is the anniversary of the event.

SOP is repeating such nonsense on an annual basis, whether Sandy Hook or 911 or JFK or any of the other false flag attacks.

Of course I can - joint commission released their documents and indictments against 3 Russians and 1 Ukrainian.
    Only blinds were not aware.

You seem to believe in things that are not physically possible. That explains why you think Kremlin is a more trustworthy source of information.

So, you are saying that you are more likely to believe in a conspiracy where a SU-25 with top speed of 975kmh and top ceiling of 7km caught up to an airliner moving at the speed of 915kmh at altitude of 10km. And it didn’t just catch up - it managed to get in front and somehow shoot at the airliners front section. And after that Netherlands, Australia and all western countries cover it up.
That is easier to believe than to believe that Russians brought the anti aircraft system into Ukraine and shot down civilian airliner by mistake?

If you take drugs - you should stop.

As I said in a previous post, I have no particular opinion on the type aircraft that attacked MH17. Maybe 25, maybe 27.

All that is certain is that the aircraft took cannon fire, and judging from the poor quality amateur video taken from the ground of the aircraft's last 30 seconds or so, it also took 1 AAM into the port engine. Along with other incriminating video, that one was quickly taken down from the internet.
