I think he thinks that large letters and colors make his argument more persuasive but instead just looks childish.
At least there are a number of positive sides to the increase in atmospheric CO2. http://www.livescience.com/37055-greenhouse-gas-desert-plants-growing.html Carbon Dioxide Greening Deserts by Becky Oskin, Senior Writer
You just sound a bit crazy is all. If you calmy responded without temper tantrums and assaults on the intelligence of anyone who disagrees you just might be taken seriously. It's almost impossible to find a warmer that can discuss and debate in a calm manner though which hardens my opinion that this is a mostly emotional movement.
Some people need a 'cause' to feel relevant. This is just the latest one, an hypothesis that predicts nothing and explains everything.
LOLOLOLOL...... I post the scientific evidence, like in posts #301, 302, 306, 317 & 320, and you find idiotically lame excuses to try to ignore it. You are a joke.
Another helpful hint, multiple LOLs only make you look evasive and childish. For the sake of argument though lets say you are right and man is warming the planet which will have catastrophic results. Tell us what we do to stop this. What do you do besides rant and rave on your global warming computer? Be our role model, tell us how to be a good believer.
Cap and Trade Invest in renewable energies Stop oil and coal subsidies Increase CAFE standards on cars Promote home conservation thru tax incentives and lots more
Question was what do you do? Instead you give political lines which reafirms my opinion that AGW is political. Vote dem they will save the world
I've suggested this to others so why not you; place your car and yourself in your garage, close the garage door, roll down all the car windows, start the car, find a good radio station, recline your seat, and after about 2 hours tell us how you honestly feel about fossil fuel emissions and whether or not they might be adverse to Earth's best interest? Then, multiply your experience by billions or trillions which gives you an idea how much crap mankind is putting into Earth's atmosphere every day. If you believe this is fine and you enjoyed your experience, then doing absolutely nothing, advocating absolutely nothing, is the correct path for you...
So I guess you are saying dems won't fight ISIS only reps will. Dems create these agw type dooms day scenarios like the famous pushing granny off a cliff commercial to scare people into voting for them. You either realize and are complicent in that or are a useful idiot. Which is it? Nice try
And there you have the simplistic answer that only a ten year old would buy. Man adds 3% to earths naturally occuring C02 so in your grade school garage example you would only add 3% to the garages naturally occuring CO2 levels then turn your car off which would mean you run your engine a millisecond. Yeah I'd be OK with that.
A better analogy would be my views on over population. I have always believed man was overpopulating the planet and I put my money where my mouth is and got a vasectomy in my 20s. You believe we are destroying the planet with fossil fuel but continue to use it and enjoy the lifestyle it gets you. See the difference between us? Another difference is I don't condemn others for not sharing my be!iefs and having all the kids they want. You not only don't walk the walk but condemn others that live just like you do for not believing like you do. Smarten up.
me personally, people live mostly where there are conveniences, the grid, the water, the fuel, the food and any other service. some may choose to live off grid, and ok, but that isn't the majority of people, and it is unreasonable to think that that can even happen. Overpopulation, who knows, there aren't enough statistics to prove that one way or another. Controlled population was always to limit government services for families, not because of the planet. You are right, these warmers should either put or shut up. If they truly believe in the upcoming climate extinction, then the first thing each and everyone of those believes should do is eliminate their carbon footprint plain and simple as that. As you said, walk walk. Cause definitely they like to talk the talk. There should only be a response to my post from a warmer if they are not using oil products for their electric. Period, I don't wish to hear anymore about the climate, they should all fade away and eliminate their carbon from my life. Let's see who replies.
"what yew mean 'we', paleface?" What you or I can do individually is pretty trivial......but as far as what 'we' as the human race, or 'we' as the American people, can do, there is quite a bit that urgently needs to be done. The primary thing is to clearly recognize what the human race is doing in the first place to cause this warming of the planet. The best scientific experts around the world are pretty near unanimous in affirming that it is the 43% increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide levels and the 250% increase in methane levels that have resulted from human activities that are causing the warming....because CO2 and methane are powerful greenhouse gases. The primary human activities responsible for the CO2 and methane buildup are, number one and most significantly and by far the largest portion, the burning of fossil fuels - coal, oil and natural gas - which has emitted 2000 billion tons of CO2 since 1750, with the large majority of that amount since 1950....and then deforestation, which removes the natural mechanisms for removing CO2 from the air......and then raising cattle and other similar animals who fart significant amounts of methane and other agricultural activities and coal mining and fracking that release methane.....and then cement manufacturing, which releases significant CO2..... The most important and most urgent things 'we' can do right now to deal with this situation are the various ways that 'we', as a country and as a planetary civilization, can reduce mankind's huge CO2 emissions and make the switch from fossil fuels to clean renewable energy sources. This transition would also greatly help with the methane buildup problem as well by rendering obsolete two of the biggest contributors - coal mining and fracking/natural gas drilling. As individuals, the most important and most effective thing we can do right now to deal with this climate change crisis would be to support and elect politicians who are willing to deal with the climate change crisis honestly on a national level by working on drastically reducing carbon emissions and methane emissions (as almost 200 nations just agreed to do)......and vote against any politicians who are stooging for the fossil fuel industry by opposing any effective actions, like instituting carbon emissions taxes, to deal with this crisis.
all of that and the best you got is to elect a politician. Holy coconuts batman. His entire solution to solve man's extinction is to vote for a politician. That's it...LOL hahahahahahahahaahhahaaaa OMG, what a tool.
Your jeers come from your blind brainwashed denial of the reality of our situation. When you start from there....everything you say based on that denial of reality is simply insane nonsense.
And if you believe ISIS is a threat and should be stopped you should raise your right hand pick up a weapon and stand a post. Come on....be all you can be. Don't be a hypocrite and live off the freedom that others have bled for. get in the fight.
As I suspected your main answer is vote Democrat which proves my opinion that AGW is mostly politics. This is what dems do, they create a crisis, instill fear or even panic in voters and then claim they are the only ones who can fix the problem. Seems like just the other day when the panic was all about logging and only dems could stop the last trees being cut down. Since that Clinton era scare tactic you rarely if ever hear about logging and it never did get shut down or even slowed down for more than a few years. Now it's global warming and next it will be God only knows what after this current AGW scare runs its course. Oh yeah and don't forget the ozone scare era, that was a good one too. We were all going to cook like bacon.
