no, no, sir - you are again deflecting away from my main point which is, would you be ok with random strangers following Zimmy around due to his demonstrated aggression (NOT including the Martin case) for the safety of the pubic - and would you be ok if these strangers were legally armed ? and would you defend these strangers if they killed Zimmy if Zimmy became tired of being followed and went on the offensive

your answer to this must be consistent with how you viewed the situation between Martin and Zimmy as I am applying the same bearing ! this is now your fourth post in which you have tried to tangent away from the topic. weak sauce.

I picture this as a typical conversation with a Zimmerman apologist:

Person A: "Do you think that's it's okay for your neighbor to follow your kid around with a loaded gun?"
Person B: "Hello no!"
Person A: "Do you think it's okay that Zimmerman followed Martin with a loaded gun?"
Person B: "Hell yes!"

It's this kind of cognitive dissonance that I find disturbing; they were lying to themselves even before it became acutely obvious that Zimmerman is a thug.

While I don't think that Zimmerman was a racist, I think that many of his supporters are. I think this is why they stubbornly refuse to accept the truth about their boy, George.

How do you know he didn't feel threatened by the coward who was following him. Didn't he have the same right to "Stand His Ground"?

 

This is America Jack, you can act anyway you want to as long as you not bothering anyone else or their property.

Now what would have happened if someone would have found Zimmerman's activity suspicious and started following him and he felt threatened and turned and shot them, would you have said that was his right.

 

Can you give us some examples of how black folks ignore it or try to defend it.

Also tell us how many threads you have started when you see discrimination against someone black.

I agree, this is up there with the worst of flame baits. I must say, I find their auditing and policing policy inconsistent.

 

Let me save you some suspense, George Zimmerman, is an idiot when it comes to confrontation behavior and practive, most especially with his encounter with Trayvon Martin. Zimmerman had a gun and got so close to Martin, a fist fight ensued, should Martin have discovered that gun, and took possession of it, that whole ordeal would have done a 180. George Zimmerman is a self defense idiot.

 

How about giving some evidence to back your claim for once. Going to Target is not "creeping around".

The neighbors told police that George was creeping around at night peering into dark spots with his flashlight or driving around with his lights off.

First, GZ was being beaten when he pulled the gun from concealment. It's not as though he was carrying it in his hand, waiting for the chance to use it.
Second, TM laid in wait for GZ, and ambushed him. It wouldn't matter if one were Green and the other Orange. I agree with the verdict.
I disagree with the conduct of GZ since then.
Now, on to the subject of this thread, which (as usual) was lost a long time ago.
5 guns is not "a lot" by any means. Shucks, I have 5 .22LR guns just for plinking and informal target shooting.
106 rounds of ammo is only 106 more than nothing. By that, I mean to say 106 rounds is LESS than negligible.
This doesn't help at all with my ongoing assessment of Mr. Z. For a guy who owns firearms for sporting purposes, 5 guns barely registers as having any guns at all, and any sportsman who lets his round count fall to 106 (total) is just plain negligent. For the sort of person who keeps guns around to augment his "tough guy" attitude, that seems like a lot. I had hoped to see better things for George by now.

 

5 guns and 100 rounds of ammo is a lot when you are indigent and homeless.

In Zimmerman's defense, he did claim he forgot he was even carrying a gun until halfway thru losing the fight.

 

Yes, I often times am at WM or something even and then realize "oops, I'm carrying a shotgun"

 

I haven't heard of any white kid in the neighborhood that night and I doubt if you can link to a report of one either.
