:icon_jawdrop: Well..... ok then. So let's get verbatim here - TM's exact words to his gf was he was 'right by' his own HOME..... so why didn't the dumb kid go into his HOME since he was RIGHT BY it?

And if you're going to use the dumb excuse that TM was 'scared' like you claimed b/f and there, how would you know what he was feeling? He had a phone, he could easily call the cops and a 'scared' kid wouldn't go back to attack the person.....

Also, a 'scared' kid would call his dad, wouldn't he? Of course, he would. That's what kids do....

Anyway, thanks for your confirmation, Margot - he was 'right by' his home.....

Are you certain that you know what right by means in terms of distance? I don't.

A "scared" kid wouldn't return to confront whatever he was afraid of, when he has many other safe options.

Oh my gawd...... this is unbelievable. You just said 'right by' is NOT a distance' and now you don't know? What?!

Look, if I say I'm 'right by' my home, that means I have quick access to my home - I can get in the door quickly b/c I'm RIGHT BY IT.... which means there is no DISTANCE to cover since I'm RIGHT BY IT.... in less than a minute I can be IN my house and it would be even less time for a long-legged 17 yr old........

This is insane.... I'm not wasting my time w/this psychobabble....BYE!

Well, you and I have the common sense to know a scared kid doesn't go running back to what he's scared of when there's the safety of his home that Margot said he was 'right by.'........

Damn! And the obsessive beat goes on....

Well, the sales are calling me.... I'm going to go turkey day and Xmas shopping.......

LOL, you made the claim about Zimmerman saying how Trayvon was acting. My reply was: This is America Jack I can go down the rode and do backflips if I like, as long as, I am not harming you or your property. Thats what I was suggesting. As far as the assault part goes, Trayvon could have very well been defending himself since NO ONE knows how this altercation started and NO I am not taking Zimmerman's word for it.

You think you know where I am going. Obviously this was more than just Zimmerman following.

Actually you bring up an interesting set of points: Motive, Means, and Opportunity. The Means consists of a hand gun, and so no problem there. Opportunity is close physical proximity. Motive, however, breaks down into several sub-branches. In order to get the identical results from the Zimmerman trial your theoretical hate-based killer would have to be able to convince a jury of his or her peers that first the aggressor was -- in this case -- Zimmerman, who angry at being followed, doubled back, confronted the defendant, broke his or her nose, rode him or her to the ground, and proceeded to try and break his or her skull open against a concrete sidewalk. At that point it becomes a viable case of armed self-defense (depending on the state, and so to save time we will stipulate that the state in question is again Florida).

Now comes into play the background check. First, did your theoretical justice seeker first contact the local police force and establish that he or she was following this suspiscious person who was seen peering into the windows of various houses on a dark and stormy night? Was you theoretical justice seeker a neighborhood watch captain of official designation? If not then you are on shaky self-defense grounds; but all is not lost! Now then . . . was your theoretical justice seeker dumb enough to leave a traceable cell phone or Internet trail wherein he or she stated that they were going to 'pay Zimmerman back' for his various evils? That, you see, pertains to Motive. So your theoretical justice seeker needs to have been darn careful.

But assuming that all the preparatory work was carefully seen to for cold blooded murder then I see no reason why your theoretical justice seeker should not get away with his or her crime. So, sure; go for it. I'll read about it on line a year or two from now. It should make for a highly entertaining case.

You mean he has a right to "Stand his ground". Too bad Trayvon wasn't given that right.

    - - - Updated - - -

LOL, exactly. Also how do you get suckerpunched by someone whom you claim is acting "suspicious" and you think they may be packing.

Think about it, you already think this cat has a gun and you have a gun but you are going to reach for your cellphone.

For anyone with 1/2 a brain, it was made quite clear in the 911 call.

Actually he ruined himself the night he murdered an unarmed teenager who was just walking back home from the store minding his own business and he decided it needed tending to.

You mean because he was walking? What is suspicious about a teen ager getting caught in the rain or talking on the phone?

How can a "witness" see a fight INSIDE the home? That "witness" may have seen the girlfriend calling 911 AFTER she was pushed out of her on home. . .but what in that is contradictory to her own statements?

    Grasping at straws, aren't you?

By the way. ..the girlfriend had said Zimmerman had those firearms in her home. . .I guess that makes her a "credible" witness?:roflol:

Really? I must have missed that!

All I heard is that he thought Trayvon was acting "suspicious" because he was leisurely walking in the rain and looking around.

    What exactly makes that "suspicious?"

I'd love to know. . .so I make sure my grandson never does it just in case he encounters a gun happy moron like George!

Unarmed teenagers trying to beat them to death in a life and death struggle? Probably not nearly enough. Why do you ask?

In my gated community teens walk and talk on the phone at all hours and in all kinds of weather. They often wear hoodies.

Could you post a link to the "THREATS " that he has received since he was found "not guilty" based on "reasonable doubt" remaining to his guilt?

I haven't heard of ONE. . .so I am interested in seeing some FACTUAL sources.

And. . .This guy should NEVER have been allowed to carry a firearm with his temper and his history of assaults. . .but he was allowed to own firearms. . .so he did. . .BIG TIME, apparently!

Now, tell me, what would FIVE firearms do to defend him from one aggressor that ONE firearm wouldn't do?

How did he plan to manage all five at one time? Or did he plan to lock himself in a house (as he has done in Samantha's house," and shoot at anyone approaching?

And, why doesn't one of his "good friends" who send him money. . .maybe even someone on this forum who thinks George is a "Saint" and a "hero" for killing the unarmed 17 year old, could certainly give him a job. . .or are they all afraid of "liabilities?"

You can call him "Hispanic" all you want to. . .it only gives a bad name to REAL Hispanics!

And some REAL Hispanics are not that happy to be placed in the same category as this time bomb!

By the way, all of you have said many times that, after the trial, George would be not only famous, but WEALTHY, with all the books, the movies, and. . .the "defamation" laws suits! . . .when are those suppose to begin?

    We're waiting!

Hmmm, I haven't seen anyone 158lb teenagers that can beat a 205lb grown man to death in a fist fight. Can you give us a few examples of some.
